I've seen both Black Swan and The Hitcher, and enjoyed them both. The Black Swan is amazing if you havent seen it before. I think both Mila Kunis and Nathalie Portman is amazing in their parts!

I grabbed that one (Black Swan) only because Mila Kunis is in it... liked her ever since That '70s Show. Unfortunately The Hitcher... all they had was the Full Screen. But you basically take what you can get when you go to the library... it will at least let me know if I want to add them to my collection. :)

I think Black Swan is a movie that you want to add to your collection after watching it. Specially if you like Mila :)

I have to agree about "The Black Swan".  I was simply blown away the first time I saw it.  And I am not a Mila Kunis fan (sorry addicted I really disliked her character in "That 70's Show" <G>) but found her as engaging in this one as I did in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (though a much different character).  Now if we could only get "The Mindy Kaling Show" off the air <sigh>
Thank you

Not too sure about this,
Music is too much in the foreground for Pete's taste, possibly.

Walked to town again today... stopped by the library and borrowed a couple more....

Devil
| Year: 2010 | 80 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Trapped in an elevator high above Philadelphia, five people discover that the Devil is among them – and no one can escape their fate. This chilling, supernatural thriller from producer M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way to a heart-stopping ending with a truly wicked twist.

Hit & Run
| Year: 2012 | 101 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell star in this hilarious, non-stop action-packed comedy costarring Bradley Cooper, Kristin Chenoweth and Tom Arnold. A nice guy with a questionable past, Charlie Bronson (Shepard), risks everything when he busts out of a witness protection program to drive his girlfriend (Bell) to Los Angeles for the job opportunity of a lifetime. Their road trip grows awkwardly complicated, however, when they're chased by an inept fed (Arnold) and Charlie's ex-pal (Cooper), a vengeance-crazed criminal he helped put behind bars. Hit & Run is a high-speed race to the finish where the brakes are off and the chase is on.

I got Hit & Run because of Kristen Bell... loved her on Veronica Mars. :)

I really like Lovely Bones.  It deals with the loss of a child in a way that no parent should every go through (not that there is a good way for this).  It can rip at you nerves but at the same time give you strange hope in the way that What Dreams May Come does.
And this is the film where i *discovered* Saoirse Ronan.  I then quickly checked others by her and found them equally engaging.  I really look for good things from her in the future as long as she gets good roles and not stuck with clunkers like The Host.  Just because you are beautiful young woman doesn't mean you need to play in teenage angst films.
Thank you
David

Hmm since it didn't look like you asking anyone in particular i'll jump in ... Yes, saw it and bought it right away.  I find it visually and performance wise a facinating film.  It is very heavy (as Iron Butterfly was to rock) film and could depend on your mood at the time.  But it is a very good watch
