It's an American import anyway - maybe they ship to Sweden?
Well, they don't ship this to Taiwan :(

But within Europe should be different story...

Salem Witch Trials
| Year: 2002 | 189 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Salem Massachusetts.  A small town—with no clear governing body—became embroiled in a scandal that forever stands as one of the darkest chapters in American history.  For those accused of witchcraft by their neighbors and friends, there was little chance of clearing their names; the mass paranoia that ravaged through the community took the lives of 19 innocent men and women.  With an all-star cast of Kirstie Alley, Rebecca De Mornay, Kristin Booth, Shirley MacLaine, Peter Ustinov and Alan BatesSalem Witch Trials dramatically revisits 1692 colonial America and the haunting legacy it holds.

Special Features
Mutiny on the Bounty
1787. HMS Bounty sets out on a journey that will take it through perilous seas to a tropical paradise... and into history as one of the most ill-fated vessels ever to sail for King and country.

Lewis Milestone ('All Quiet On The Western Front') directed this color-drenched spectacular, nominated for seven Academy Awards® including Best Picture. Filmed before in 1935 and again in 1984's 'The Bounty', the gripping story centers on two men. Marlon Brando plays first officer Fletcher Christian as a dandy transformed into a man of action. Trevor Howard is Capt. William Bligh, uncompromising in his command or his cruelty. "Fear is [my] best weapon," Bligh proclaims. But it's also the most costly, driving men to desperation and mutiny. Richard Harris, Hugh Griffith and Richard Haydn also star in this epic adventure.
The Formula
Where police detective Barney Caine goes, assassination follows: Someone is gunning down his contacts. As Caine connects the dots and dodges death, he finds his investigation is tied to a secret formula for a non-polluting synthetic fuel that wouldn't just revolutionize the oil industry. It would destroy it.

Big oil (and bigger conspiracy) runs the jigsaw-thriller world of 'The Formula', directed by John G. Avildsen ('Rocky'). George C. Scott portrays Caine, who thinks he's making headway in the case. As events play out, he may be only where certain power allow him to be. Marlon Brando is oil magnate and mover-and-shaker Adam Steiffel. And Marthe Keller is a woman of mystery who's player or pawn — or both. "You're not in the oil business. You're in the oil shortage business," Caine tells Steiffel. Is the detective right? You decide.
Julius Caesar
They are all "honorable men." And they are all conspirators bend on murdering the emperor. To win public support, however, they know they must sway the widely admired Brutus to their cause.

'Julius Caesar' (nominated for five Academy Awards® including Best Picture and a winner for Best B&W Art Direction/Set Decoration) remains one of the best movie adaptations of Shakespeare as directed by Oscar® winner Joseph L. Mankiewicz. Atop the stellar cast, John Gielgud plays lead conspirator Cassius (later at the other end of the dagger as Caesar in the 1970 movie version). James Mason (the National Board of Review's Best Actor Award winner) is tormented Brutus. And in a celebrated casting, Marlon Brando abandons his then-trademark T-shirt for a toga to give a compelling portrayal of loyal avenger Antony.
The Teahouse of the August Moon
The American military knows just what a post-World War II Okinawa village needs: schools, rules and a Ladies' League for Democratic Action. Thank you oh so much, reply the villagers, but here's what we really need: a teahouse, complete with geishas. West vs. East, conquerors vs. conquered. Guess who wins?

"Serious actor" Marlon Brando displayed his versatility by getting laughs (lots of 'em!) in this comic delight based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning play and co-starring two top-model Fords: Hollywood star Glenn and stage star Paul, the latter recreating his Broadway role. Brando's interpreter Sakini, with more smart maneuvers than Admiral Halsey and his fleet, keeps the construction of both the teahouse and the plot moving at a merry clip. Welcome to the 'Teahouse', where comedy is served.
Reflections in a Golden Eye
"An Army post in peacetime is a dull place." So begins Carson McCullers' famous novel of secret passion, 'Reflections in a Golden Eye'. But beneath the smooth surface of military routine, a deadly tension mounts.

Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando star in this startling screen version that like the book crackles with mysterious exotic energy. They play the Pendertons, he a hidebound career officer wrestling with inner demons, she a caged lioness needful of love, whatever the source. Their off-kilter relationship plays out under the voyeuristic gaze of a soldier (Robert Forster) soon to become the focal point of tragedy. Provocatively directed by John Huston and co-starring Brian Keith and Julie Harris in moving supporting performances, this spellbinder is powerful and complex -- just like that emotion called love.
The Marlon Brando Collection
MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY
Idyllic locations and bold adventure combine in a powerful tale of the 1787 voyage. Brando portrays Fletcher Christian, the officer who defies the tyranny of Capt. Bligh (Trevor Howard).

JULIUS CAESAR
Brando sets aside his familiar T-shirt for a toga and plays imperial loyalist Antony in Shakespeare's towering tale of friendship and betrayal. With John Gielgud and James Mason.

REFLECTIONS IN A GOLDEN EYE
Illicit passions play out against the hidebound decorum of a Georgia army base in a startling version of Carson McCuller's novel. John Huston directs Brando and Elizabeth Taylor.

THE TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON
Brando shows his comedy chops! In a delightful change of pace, he's an interpreter in post-World War II Okinawa who bucks U.S. military men Glenn Ford and Paul Ford in order to build a teahouse -- complete with geishas.

THE FORMULA
A trail of deceit and death leads to a hush-hush formula for a fuel that would destroy the oil industry. Brando and George C. Scott star in a mazelike thriller of big oil and big conspiracy.
Cold Souls
Oscar® Nominee*, and Emmy and Golden Globe winner PAUL GIAMATTI (Sideways) plays an actor named Paul Giamatti in this hilariously twisted "slice of existential whimsy" (Variety) that's bizarre and beguiling in every possible way. Co-starring Oscar® Nominees** DAVID STRATHAIRN (The Bourne Ultimatum) and EMILY WATSON (Breaking the Waves) this witty re-envisioning of reality turns a "concept worthy of vinatge Woody Allen" into a "delicious fable of international metaphysical espionage" (The New York Times)!

During rehearsals for Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, Paul Giamatti finds his soul growing so heavy under the weight of the material that his whole life begins to suffer. When he hears of a doctor who extracts and stores souls, he decides to undergo the procedure. Unburdened, Giamatti's life becomes freewheeling, easygoing...and more intolerable than ever! He returns to the doctor demanding his old soul back, but a little snafu involving the Russian black market leads him on a harrowing journey that gives new meaning to the term "soul-searching!"

*Paul Giamatti, Supporting Actor, Cinderella Man, 2005.
**David Strathairn, Actor, Good Night, and Good Luck, 2005. Emily Watson: Actress, Breaking the Waves, 1996; Actress, Hilary and Jackie, 1998.
Warm Bodies
An unlikely romance between a beautiful human teen and a sensitive undead slacker sets off a chain of events with the power to transform the world.
Colossus: "The Forbin" Project
The ultimate computer creates the ultimate terror in this chillingly real sci-fi suspense thriller. When electronics genius Charles Forbin creates a massive computer complex that is capable of independently regulating the national defense of the United States, it appears that no enemy will ever be able to penetrate its sovereign borders.

But such a promising thought turns into a stunning nightmare when it's discovered the Russians have built an equally sophisticated computer and that these two "doomsday machines" have linked, sharing classified information and top secrets.  Desperately, Forbin and his Soviet xounterparts try to stop the all-knowing "monster" computers from seizing command of the world's nuclear missile stockpiles.
Eastern Promises
Viggo Mortensen and Academy Award® nominee* Naomi Watts star in this electrifying thriller from critically acclaimed director David Cronenberg (A History of Violence). Criminal mastermind Nikolai (Mortensen) finds his ties to a notorious crime family shaken when he crosses paths with Anna (Watts), a midwife who has accidentally uncovered evidence against them. Their unusual relationship sets off an unstoppable chain of murder, mystery and deception in the explosive film critics are calling "provocative and engrossing" (Claudia Puig, USA Today).

*2003 Best Actress, 21 Grams.
Invaders from Mars
"A slick, state-of-the-art remake" of the 1953 thriller classic (Film Journal), this space-age creature feature is crawling with horrifying hordes of Martians hell-bent on stealing your soul – as well as your planet! Starring Karen Black, and packed with "hair-raising terror" (Chicago Tribune) and "magnificent" (Time Out) special effects, Invaders From Mars is a nail-biting voyage of "knuckle-whitening fear [that] builds to a screaming pitch" (The New York Times)!

Little David Gardener's starry-eyed dreams turn into an out-of-this-world nightmare when invaders from the red planet land in his backyard and unleash their hostilities on unsuspecting earthlings! Paralyzed with fear as the aliens take over the minds of his mom, dad and even his schoolmates, David must somehow find a way to stop them – before they turn the whole human race into brain-dead zombies of space!
Strange Invaders
In 1958, all folks had to worry about were communists, Elvis Presley and...invaders from space. When an alien spaceship lets loose some gooey green men on a small Midwestern town, Main Street USA becomes Strange Street USA! This eerie sci-fi creeper unveils an out-of-this world plot that moves furiously "towards a full-throttle inspirational climax" (Time)!

When Professor Bigelow's (Paul Le Mat) wife abruptly leaves him to return to her hometown of Centerville, Illinois, he has  no idea that following her there would pull him into a close encounter with something otherworldly...and quite possibly sinister. With the help of a ditzy tabloid reporter (Nancy Allen), Bigelow attempts to expose some real extraterrestrial shockers – which of course no one believes – until the kidnapping of his daughter for a ride into space forces the professor to teach these invaders a lesson in vigilantism!
The Last Stand

Jack Reacher
Ex-military investigator Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) leaps off the pages of Lee Child's bestselling novel and onto the big screen in the explosive thriller the critics are calling "TRUT, MUSCULAR, GRUFF AND COOL." When an unspeakable crime is committed, all evidence points to the suspect in custody who offers up a single note in defense: "GET JACK REACHER!" The law has its limits, but Reacher does not when his fight for the truth pits against an unexpected enemy with a skill for Violence and a secret to keep.
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

Heavy Metal
Based on the fantastical illustrated magazine HEAVY METAL, producer IVAN REITMAN enlists the world's greatest comic book artists to create the otherworldly tale of a glowing green orb from outer space that spreads destruction throughout the galaxy. Only when encountered by its one true enemy, to whom it is inexplicably drawn, will goodness prevail throughout the universe. Richly and lavishly drawn, the vignettes of the orb's dark victories include the character voices of John Candy and Harold Ramis and a pounding soundtrack by Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Devo, Donald Fagen, Don Felder, Grand Funk Railroad, Sammy Hagar, Journey, Nazareth, Stevie Nicks, Riggs, and Trust. Highly imaginative and full of sprising special effects, HEAVY METAL set the standard for alternative contemporary animation. An intoxicating experience not to be missed.
Parker
Parker (Jason Statham) ia a professional thief who lives by a personal code of ethics: Don't steal from people who can't afford it and don't hurt people who don't deserve it. But on his latest heist, his crew double-crosses him, steals his stash, and leaves him for dead. Determined to make them regret it, Parker tracks them to Palm Beach – playgroung of the rich and famous – where the crew is planning their biggest heist ever. Donning the disguise of a rich Texan, Parker takes on an unlikely partner: Leslie (Jennifer Lopez), a savvy insider who's short on cash but big on looks, smarts and ambition. Together, they devise a plan to hijack the score, take everyone down and get away clean. Also starring Michael Chiklis.
Final Analysis
Psychiatrist Isaac Barr is a noted expert in his field – and the perfect patsy in a devious scheme of murder and inheritance. And his fall could be straight down from atop a towering lighthouse.

Handcuffed in No Mercy, Richard Gere and Kim Basinger now face off on a lighthouse catwalk in Final Analysis, a gripping, masterful update of the complex psychological thrillers of yesteryear. Writer Wesley Strick (Cape Fear) and Director Phil Joanau (State of Grace) uncover sultry evil around each turn. The mood is sinister: Barr (Gere) breaches professional ethics by romancing the gorgeous sister of a troubled client (Thurman). One black widow makes a mystery exciting. Two makes this one irresistible.
The Hunter
Steve McQueen's last movie shows the dynamic talent of the late, great actor in one of his most memorable roles: The true story of Ralph "Papa" Thorson, a modern day bounty hunter. Thorson's exploits are detailed as he pursues a number of fugitives who have skipped bail. The chase comes full circle when he becomes the quarry of a vengeful psychopath. McQueen's multi-dimensional performance as Thorson, a man born in the wrong age, is counterpoint to the explosive action in The Hunter.
Dragonslayer
Back in the days when everyone believed in magic, a horrifying fire-breathing dragon terrorized the sixth-century British countryside. The only hope for the beleaguered citizens is an aging sorcerer (Sir Ralph Richardson). But when he is killed before he can save the people, the task falls on his young apprentice, Galen (Peter MacNicol).

Galen's mission is complicated by resistance from the king – and by falling in love – but his biggest challenge comes when he is suddenly face to face with the dreaded monster. Is his magic enough to save him?
Krippendorf's Tribe
This outrageous comedy stars Richard Dreyfuss ('Mr. Holland's Opus') and sexy Jenna Elfman (TVs 'Dharma And Greg'), who discover that primitive culture is as close as your own backyard! Instead of documenting a previously unknown tribe in New Guinea, Professor James Krippendorf ( Dreyfuss) has blown the last two years...and 'all' his grant money...rearing his out-of-control kids! Desperate to bluff his way past impatient colleagues, Krippendorf decides to focus his camera on the wildest tribe he can find: his own outrageous offspring! With a top cast including Lily Tomlin ('Flirting With Disaster') - you'll find the crowd-pleasing lengths taken to pull off this hoax absolutely hilarious!
Wreck-It Ralph
Prepare for adventure when "the most original animated film in years" (Bryan Erdy, CBS-TV) that thrilled audiences of all ages drops on DVD! From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes a hilarious, arcade game-hopping journey in Disney's Wreck-It Ralph.

For decades, Ralph has played the bad guy in his popular video game. In a bold move, he embarks on an action-packed adventure and sets out to prove to everyone that he is a true hero with a big heart. As he explores exciting new worlds, he teams up with some unlikely new friends including feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz. Then, when an evil army threatens their world, Ralph realizes he holds the fate of the entire arcade in his massive hands.

Featuring an all-star voice cast and a groundbreaking animated short film, Disney's Wreck-It Ralph has something for every player. Bring home the ultimate reward on Disney DVD!
Oz the Great and Powerful
Disney's fantastical adventure Oz The Great And Powerful, from the director of the Spider-Man trilogy, follows Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics. When Diggs is hurled away to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot – until he meets three witches (Mila kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams), who aren't convinced he's the great wizard everyone's expecting. Reluctantly drawn into epic problems facing Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it's too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity – and even some wizardry – Oscar transforms himself into the great Wizard and a better man as well.
Jack the Giant Slayer
The epic fantasy tale explodes across the screen in this superb interpretation that recounts the heroic adventures of an ordinary young farmhand who battles a race of bloodthirsty giants to save a kingdom and its beloved princess from harm.
The Lone Ranger
Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear...when with one jaunty call, "Hi-Yo, Silver!" the Lone Ranger solidified his role as America's favorite hero of the Wild West. Mounted atop a white stallion, he remains a steadfast symbol for truth and justice, capturing the hearts and imaginations of generations of fans. Celebrate the Lone Ranger's 75th anniversary with this 13-disc collector's edition DVD, featuring seasons 1 & 2 of the original TV series.

4 Film Favorites: Steve McQueen

Papillon
They called him Papillon, meaning "butterfly."  If only he had wings to go with the name. Unable to fly, Henri Charriere virtually willed himself free. He persisted until he did the impossible: escape Devil's Island.

Based on Charriere's bestseller and shot in Spain and Jamaica, Franklin J. Schaffner's film of Papillon united two stars at key career junctions.  After a decade of fine work in The Great Escape, The Sand Pebbles and Bullitt, Steve McQueen found in Charriere another ideal tough-guy role.  Coming off The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, and Little Big Man, Dustin Hoffman again distinguished himself as Dega, Charriere's scruffy friend.
Journey to the Seventh Planet
In futuristic 2001, the UN has sent a special team of scientists to explore Uranus. And what this interstellar crew discovers is a planet not unlike Earth – complete with a small Danish village filled with voluptuous women! Nevada Smith

Arrived in the mail today...

The Box
| Year: 2009 | 116 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Push a red button on a little black box, get a million bucks cash. But there's a catch: Someone somewhere – someone you don't know – will die. Cameron Diaz and James Marsden play a couple confronted by agonizing temptation yet unaware they're part of an orchestrated and – for them and us – mind-blowing chain of events. Frank Langella also stars in this gripping sci-fi mystery thriller from director Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) and a short story by Richard Matheson (I Am Legend).

While you can't tell from the above... this is a Blu-ray/DVD Combo set.
