As far as I remember it was a decent slice-of-life movie telling different stories similar to "Love Actually" (only without the christmas theme). But it has been awhile that I have seen it.

If he wrote a review great, but if I trust one that I've just read on another website this movie is worst than "The Sorority" and I'm not sure if he will forgive us this time if we force him to watch this

Just check on Amazon (Germany) and it looks like the German industry is like our industry, no english subtitles 

The problem is, that the US doesn't seem to be very interested in our movies and if they are, they would rather remake it than producing subtitles for it
Also this DVD doesn't even have German subtitles 
Usually on a German DVD English subtitles are only available, if the original soundtrack is in English.

Well, I am not even sure there is a DVD available at all... But, since it's basically "Night of the Living Dead" with dubbed audio, it is actually public domain and you can just download it.
