No new episode tonight...was a rerun from back in April I think. Once I saw that it was a rerun, I changed the channel. Next week Big Bang Theory goes back to Thursday nights at 8, so no more watching Bones live here. It will sit on the DVR.

Hm, i gotcha. Do you know when the new episode(s) will be back?
So you will watch The Big Bang before you watch Bones?
Would you say Big Bang is a better show then Bones?

I think there is supposed to be a new episode again next week. Not sure though.
Yes I will watch Big Bang first. I definitely enjoy that one more now. It is a different sort of show - half hour comedy instead of hour long crime/drama type thing, but it is a better show I think. Least for me anymore. It is iffy how enjoyable I find Bones from episode to episode, but I pretty much always enjoy Big Bang Theory.

I understand that many many people find the show real hilarious. But i'm sorry. Not for me :\

I'll still watch Bones...it will just wait on the DVR.
I know some don't like Big Bang. It can be silly at times, but I like it.

I came across something last night I think it was. I think it was at the TVLine website...something about which shows will be renewed and and all that. That site has done this in previous years.
Anyway. It lists Bones as a sure thing, meaning it is all but officially renewed. What the hell? Why?
Castle is listed as a safe bet. I've seen stuff mentioned other places that say Castle is still doing good with ratings and that the renewal will be tied to the contracts. Which we already knew. I thought I would share anyway.
I don't get how Bones can be a sure thing for another freaking season. I thought the ratings were done from last year even...but who knows. Though I do wonder if they will drop tomorrow night with Big Bang back on Thursdays.

Hm, thats interesting.. Bones on for a season 11 huh? Well, i didnt see that coming actually. But fair enough i guess if it happens. First David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel have to agree on new contracts. But when all that is set and done. I guess there might be a season 11 then. A bit shocking tho. What does Hanson & Co have on the FOX bosses?
Was the new Bones on tonight? Because of my crazy work scedual i'm fucked. And depressed actually. So going on this graveyard shift till 1st of December.
Why do i say yes to stuff like that?! Bah
Anyways, i guess i will check later if a new episode is out or what. Havent gotten a notice yet tho. Do you know?

There hasn't been anything official from FOX yet, but the one website says it is a sure thing...and that website has been pretty much right for the last several years on this stuff. Yup...David and Emily would have to sign on more..I think their contracts were only through season 10....I swear I thought I heard back when they did contracts the last time that David didn't want to keep going that long. So who knows. Maybe he's changed his mind since then...decided that a guaranteed paycheck is better than nothing.
Honestly, I've had that thought myself a few times lately...what does Hanson have on someone at FOX to keep the showing going?
The longer the show stays on, the more likely I think that is.
There was a new Bones on last night - Thursday. I haven't watched yet. I'll get to it eventually. I think they were supposed to be at some kind of crime convention thing - sort of like a comic con for cops and scientists and someone gets murdered. I think.

Hehe, yep. Hanson & Co got something on the big bosses at FOX!
i cant explain any other reasons why Bones would be renewed for a season nr 11.
I mean if the ratings are going down, and they are losing viewers. Well i dont know. I dont know what David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel is thinking when it comes to renew their contracts. Yes, its a steady paycheck. But on the otherhand they have done this tv-show for almost 10 years and 10 seasons. And they work almost 70hours weeks most of the time i've read. Maby they think its time to take some time off? Do something new? New challenges? Money wouldnt be the issue here.
And we have to remember that both David and Emily is married with kids. So who knows what they are thinking at this point? I would NOT be shocked if they either says this is it. And no thanks for more Bones. Or if they agree to take another year. But it is a early season yet. Alot of things can happen. FOX can even decide that they wont renew Bones.
And for this weeks episode, i havent gotten around to watch it yet. Hopefully i will get some time today or tonight to watch it. Have you watched it yet?

I just watched this weeks episode. A few days late tho. The episode was ok. Nothing more. As most of the episodes of Bones.
The case of the week was mediocre. You kinda knew who did it after 10 minutes in to the case. And we got to see Wendall back aswell. He was actually looking real good for a guy who got cancer. Troughout the episode he both seemed happy and depressed. So i'm interested to see what they will do with Wendall. Will they kill him of? Will he be back as a "regular" ? It looks like Junior will be in the main cast. Like Bones and Booth.
I wont say too much before you have seen it yourself.

I don't know what to think about Bones anymore really. Or about it getting renewed. I thought the ratings were going down this season, and that was even before Big Bang Theory went back to Thursday nights...I haven't seen anything on the latest ratings, but I wouldn't be surprised if they took a hit since Big Bang was back to Thursday.
I was thinking that David and Emily were only signed through the 10th season, but who knows. Yes it has been 10 years, but maybe they like the security of the show..they know where their paychecks are coming from..plus I think they get backend money too - DVDs, syndication ...all that since they are producers. So who knows. A lot of people have been on one successful show and then never seen again after the show ends. So who knows.
I watched the episode last night while I was working on an afghan I'm making.
It was ok like you said. Nothing great. But really...a great episode of Bones is not the normal anymore and hasn't been for a while. Just sort of...blah I guess.
What the heck is up with them trying to make Hodgins look guilty again. Like he said this is the third freaking time - and I think the last one wasn't that long ago really.
And Junior ticked me off a bit...when Hodgins had to go in for official questioning - which I get that they had to follow up. But Junior went a little too far there I thought..got a little too aggressive...when Booth cut him off...asked something about did he answer your main questions or something like that, and then said Hodgins could leave. Junior irked me there. Bad Junior.
Wendell was looking good. and seems to be doing well. I think, from some of the crap interviews after the premiere, that originally they planned to kill him off...now they may have changed their minds since they decided to kill off Sweets instead. But really, it wouldn't surprise me if they made Wendell relapse at some point..when they think they need something shocking again or something.
I saw the actress that plays Cam on a talk show over here the other day. There was just some general questions about what was the grossest body....is it hard to learn the scientific terms...that sort of stuff. The fact that Cam is involved with Aristoo came up briefly and there was a question about if there would be wedding bells for them. I think she said maybe...along with watch and see...she did say that Aristoo is ready by Cam is more hesitant about it. Which that fits in with the episode from last season they showed last week..when Cam finally met his parents. I thought that maybe something would be coming up in the next episode, but the preview didn't make it seem like it..so who knows.
I haven't watched any of the reruns of the show on TNT since the premiere. I've just lost the interest in them I guess.

I'm not sure what i'm thinking about the show either anymore. From season 1-6 it was my one of my favorite shows on tv. Couldnt go a week without watching. But then they messed it all up. And after that everything went downhill (in my book anyways) Hanson & Co made some huge mistakes and the writers wrote some real bad episodes. And they screwed the fans of Bones and Booth hooking up moment. I think that hurt the show. But we are on the 10th season, so someone are still watching i guess. Hell, i'm still watching. So i shouldnt talk to loudly i guess. And i probably will watch it till the show ends. If they do get renewed for a 11th season (!!) i will be shocked to be honest. Completely shocked. But i guess we will know more. If they renew it for a 11th time they have to have some untold stories to tell. Well, i dont know anything anymore.
For Junior, i'm not sure i agree with you on him being a bad junior (
) in this one. He is new the group. He is only doing his job you know, like anyone else would do. If he knew the group better i think he wouldnt "go that far" but once he get to know them better, he will change aswell. I actually like Junior. Great addition to the team IMHO.
And for making Hodgins look guilty. Well, everyone have been framed or made look like he\she was the guilty one. They have even done that on Castle. They shouldnt overplay it. Thats all! Hey, they even made Zack a serialkiller or whatnot. So we never know what they will do. The next would be something like the squints being a murderer or something. Wouldnt shock me really.
And just for the record, i dont watch any reruns either of Bones. I did before, but not anymore. :\

Well I got annoyed earlier than you did with the show when they screwed up Angela and Hodgins for no reason. Then did all that stupid stuff with Angela after that. I really didn't like some of those storylines. Then there was the disaster of the 100th episode that was supposed to be oh so great and what the fans had been waiting years for - according to Hanson and possibly that idiot Nathan. No...not even close. Horrible episode.
I haven't seen what the ratings were for last week's episode..I can't help but think they went down with Big Bang being back on Thursdays. With how popular Big Bang is, it seems kind of...well...stupid to put Bones against it. I will be surprised if it is renewed..I just don't see it, especially with how FOX cancelled so many other better shows in the past after giving them basically no chance.
I know Junior is the new guy. I still think he went just a bit too far there, even after Booth was trying to get him to back off. I'm not saying that makes me dislike him..I just didn't like bit. Junior is ok and I guess I like him overall. Though I'm still ......irked with how he was brought in as Sweets was killed. But that is more of an issue with the whole mess that was made with what was done to Sweets.
Hmmm....It wouldn't surprise me if one of the interns turned out to be a full on murderer either really. I don't think that would bother me since most of them are barely around...though it would bug me a bit if it was Aristoo, Wendell, or the one that was dating Michelle...Opie is all I can think of.
Abernathy for last name maybe. Hmm...I don't know...I just keep hearing Hodgins calling him Opie. So I guess he is Opie to me like Junior is Junior.
They could make that one newer intern a killer..the arrogant know it all. No idea what his name is either, but he's an arrogant ass.
Ohhh...I have been meaning to tell you. The one intern is on Forever. It is a more steady part. He's been in every episode so far. Fisher maybe...the one that has been depressed. So maybe he won't be back anymore. I think it has been a while since he was around. Hmm.
I thought of something else that is bugging me. I suppose it is a kind of minor thing, but it is bugging me. After all they did with Sweets being killed..and set it up that he and Daisy were back together and having a baby, no one has said squat about Daisy since the second episode. Nathan, Hanson and the dumbass brigade wanted to add in the pregnancy, but now it is like why did they bother to do that? If they wanted to have that be part of the story of this season, then someone should at least talk about her every so often. Like someone say they talked to Daisy today...stopped by to check on her..something. But there is nothing. And probably won't be anything until they decide to bring her back to give birth...probably some crazy situation...snowed in somewhere...stuck in an elevator...lock down at the Jeffersonian when she came for a baby shower...I have a feeling they will do something stupid like that...maybe even have it to where Bones or Cam have to delivery the baby.

I dont watch many promos from Bones really. Only Castle. So i dont know if there will be a new episode out or not tomorrow? You know?
And when it comes to the Daisy situation, well.. I dont know why they would bring her back at all. Specially when they decided to just kill of Sweets. I get that she is pregnant in real life and all that. But then they could just keep her of the screen. They dont even use her or even talk about her now. As you said. So that situation just pisses me off. So after all they did, they would be better of to not bring her back at all. What a mess. I read somwhere that they were filming her birth or whatever a few episodes back. So what will happen then? We see her give birth, and then we never see her again?
And for that depressed dude, i thought there would be a reason to why we havent seen him yet this season. Well if he got a new permanent gig. Good for him!
I havent watched Forever yet. What is it about? Who's behind it etc? Is it worth checking out etc?

I think there is a new episode tomorrow night. I know there was a little promo...not that I have a clue of what it showed now - it evidently made no impact on me.
But I think it said the next episode was in a week.
They are bringing her back to ring every last bit of sadness out of Sweets being murdered - they aren't saying that, but that's why. That was apparent when Nathan said that they decided to write in the pregnancy after they knew he needed time off and they decided to kill him off. Nathan thought it would be great to have Daisy pregnant with his baby when he is killed. They are trying to manipulate us again. With the way they are dealing with everything - by basically ignoring it or having Booth all better have a little chat with Bones - there was no freaking point at all to make Daisy pregnant. Since they decided to do that, and have Daisy involved in trying to catch the killer somewhat - she helped with the autopsy and all that - then they should have properly followed through with what they set up. At the very least, characters should be mentioning that they have talked to her on the phone or stopped by to see her or something...hell they even set it up with Christine having a relationship with her too...back when she talked about Uncle Sweets and Daisy taking her to the park. So has Christine lost Daisy too or is she staying in touch? If they just had her mentioned, that would be better. At least we would know she was still around now. As it is, we probably won't hear squat about her, then she'll be back and give birth. She may name the baby Seely like Sweets wanted - I've always thought that was a stupid name...poor baby.
- make Booth the godfather...again like Sweets wanted...and then who knows. I won't be surprised if she just sort of...vanishes and we never hear about her again. Which at this point, with what they set up, sucks.
I'm loving Forever. Very good, interesting show. I definitely think it is worth checking out.
It is set in New York City. The main character is a coroner..Dr. Henry Morgan. He's very intelligent and ends up helping a homicide detective, Jo something - I can't remember her last name - on cases. Henry is also over 200 years old. He can't die. Well...I guess he technically has died many times, but he doesn't stay dead. He doesn't know why it is happening and he's still trying to figure that out. He's been some kind of doctor for most of that time and he's seen a lot of stuff that has ended up helping in the murder investigations at times. There is someone else, who calls himself Adam, who is like Henry, but much, much older. Adam has started contacting Henry. That bit has only come up about 3 times total so far. Adam does not seem to be a nice guy. Abe is an older man who knows the truth about Henry..they are family in a way. I love that relationship. There are little bits of humor here and there. The show isn't that violent or gory overall. A lot like most episodes of Castle really in that respect.
I don't know who the show creator is. Ioan Grufford plays Henry. The woman who plays Jo was evidently in one of the Law and Order shows for a while. Judd Hirsch plays Abe..and there is the depressed guy from Bones. Jo's captain is a woman ..she was a bit skeptical about Henry at first I think, but she has come around.
So far, each episode has shared a little more from Henry's past. He's still trying to deal with something even though I think it has been a while since it happened. Jo has her own issues..she's still dealing with the death of her husband. Jo and Henry work well together and there is a good, strong friendship building there. I guess someone at the Castle board - there is a thread about Forever over there too in the one section - saw where the show creator has ideas for at least a few seasons. There isn't any kind of romance with Jo and Henry right now, but the creator did talk about that developing later. Neither character is ready for that now.
