No no no...not my fault. You are the one who told me to keep posting about the episodes...which I did. So therefore it is your fault. Yup. All your fault.
Psst - if you don't buy that, let's blame Jon. That always works.
Also...I'm suffering from severe Castle withdrawl here. I'm not responsible for my actions...or something.
(click to show/hide)
I can get that Booth was.....annoyed by things Angela said when all that crap was going on. However, I think he should have said something about it sooner. Even in this episode, he really didn't say squat..and it was only dealt with because Angela finally went to his office. It just wasn't handled right.
Just seeing Caroline in a cowboy hat was....ummm....interesting. And a drunk Bones. I don't think we've seen that before.
Average sounds about right for the episode...for most of them this year really. Even the wedding. They just dragged it out to long getting there..and then...well. It was like that's it? blah. It isn't as good as it was before. I don't think the problem is because Bones and Booth are together. The writers just don't know what they are doing more often than not...like with Pelante most recently. And now they are gearing up with a new serial killer. Someone needs to slap some sense into them and stop that.
I'm not a parent either. I would think a parent would remember seeing their daughter, but I do know there are some people who get incredibly wrapped up in their work to the point where they don't know what day it is and don't remember interacting with people. He did seem a lot like Bones...and she did say that she would turn to work in a similiar situation. So I think it is possible. Maybe the guy has some for of autism or aspergers - I don't know how to spell that.
I don't get the point of the identity theft and who the thief is either. And it was oh so contrived to have Cam end up changing her mind and deciding not to pursue the extra charges...even though that ...bitch showed no remorse. Cam could afford it..it was sort of like she was blaming Cam because Cam didn't give her a loan the year before. What a nasty piece of work. And Cam is going to be dealing with the fallout from that crap for years. This story, like so many others they have done recently, really didn't go anywhere. Unless like you said she ends up being Pelante's long lost sister.
Though I still think that the new serial killer might have a connection to Pelante. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the killer is a zombie or vampire Pelante or some such nonsense.
That would make as much sense as everything else they've done.

Yes, lets blame Jon! And you just a little!
But its ok!

So, when it comes to the Booth\Ange situation, you think Booth should speak up? Personally i think BOTH of them should speak up much sooner. IMHO i think Booth should grow a set. Man up buddy! The whole thing wasnt handled right by Hanson & Co.. But i think it was about time some of them did something. But i guess i hoped for a bigger "ending" maby. Prolly since they have played it up big time. Not the first time they drop the ball.. Ah, whats new eh?
And for Caroline in a cowboy hat.. Well, not the only thing thats wrong. She, she.. Yeah, i'll leave it with that. If we've seen Bones drunk before.. Well, both YES and NO. Once in a early season, they got drunk on shots, after a case. But we didnt see much. Doesnt know if that counts or not? And for the whole parent thing and not remembering. I dont know what to think, we have to remember that Booth is a father himself and he got a son. So maby he knows a great deal about the dude. I dont know. But Booth has been grumpy lately. Maby something is up with him and Bones? Or maby i just seeing or hearing things? And let me just say this. If this was it for the Cam and ID theft. I will both be so disappointed and pissed off. I really hope there are some bigger stuff coming up later. Because they have made it like a huge deal, and this was it? Nah, wont work for me. Sorry for my negative post. But i guess the holiday season will be good.

I guess I think Booth should have said something sooner...or Angela should have said something once she knew what had been going on - Pelante forcing him to call off the wedding and all that crap. Which was a bonehead stupid move for the writers to pull. It was just to jerk the audience around more. And that's why I don't particularly care anymore.
Anyway...if they wanted to have this...issue between Booth and Angela, they should have dealt with it sooner..and had Angela say something about how she was just worried for her friend..something like that. I don't know...this is just another in a long line of things they set up and then went nowhere.
I know what you mean about Cam and the identity theft. All this crap about it and now this is the pay off?? Stupid stupid stupid. But then again, look at how they dealt with it to begin with. It came up in the one episode....then nothing for something like 5 episodes....then Cam is still on an allowance..that has been reduced because someone else put in some sort of lein or whatever against her. Then, suddenly, after what amounts to a few months in the show's time line, Angela decides to try to track down the thief ...and we know who it is like 20 minutes later. Why the hell didn't Angela act sooner? Then again, nothing for a few weeks, then the next thing we know, Booth arrested the thief. Yet another bungled story. I'm not surprised anymore.

Well, its a week or more since the episode. So i wont use spoilertags! So you are warned..
I think we agree on the Ange\Booth situation was handled bad, and we blame the writes! Poor job.. Or lazy job, either way. Maby they arent that hungry anymore. I dont know. Well, lets hope we've not seen the last of the Cam story aswell. They they they. Nope, not even going to go there!
I guess we have a month now with no Bones, and i'll use that time good. And lets hope when they come back that its better then what they are showing us now! Merry Christmas!

I don't even mind that there aren't any new episodes for like a month. Not like with Castle.
I do hope it gets better, but..well...I'll just say that I'm not holding my breath considering what they have done so far this year. Just a big bunch of .... blah.

I saw some story thing online - but I didn't read it..just saw a link to it. Anyway, it was saying that this season of Bones was going to end on a big cliffhanger. So either Hanson and the idiots know they are being renewed, or they are setting up something that has the potential to really screw the audience...and tick us off. Setting up a cliffhanger without knowing for sure the show will be back is a bad idea....it has not worked for some shows.

Hm, thats interesting so early on. But i guess they know more then we do
i think they keep close attention on the ratings, viewers etc.. So maby they allready know they will be renewed. But then again no? There's been a few show that ended on a cliffhanger that got cancled with the cliffhanger. So it will be interesting to see.

Exactly. There have been shows that had been picked up for more than one year before..and then at the last minute cancelled...even though the ratings were still good.

Yup...me too. I haven't even thought about when the next episode is going to be on either. Not like with Castle...just over a week now.
Woohoo.
Anyway. I think I remember reading sometime over the summer about Hanson saying the show could go into 10 seasons...but he also tried to say that the move to Friday wasn't a sure thing...and lookie there...the show is on Friday. So. Also, with the things he has said about story lines and such, I don't really trust or believe anything he says anymore.
I won't be surprised if it cancelled after this season even if Hanson has plans to keep the show going.

I guess we'll just have to see. I've said it all along that i think this will be the last season of the show. And i will be real surprised if they have a season 10. But then again, you never know with Bones. They had a bad season 8, but still going on with a 9th season.

I could definitely see this as the last season. But like you said...who knows. I think I'd be a bit surprised if it is picked up again given all the crap that has been happening..and the fact that they have ticked off fans.

We watched this last night and I think it will be the last episode for me. It doesn't seem to be growing any and the humorous bits are seldom and far between. Just don't really care about the characters anymore.

I saw the episode. I don't even remember what was going on now...see what an impression it made it on me?
Oh..wait...I remember now.
(click to show/hide)
They are setting up the new serial killer..calling them the ghost killer. Bones is obsessed with figuring that stuff out because of what Pelante told her ... she thinks she should have an unlimited budget to work on that stuff and that Cam should never question her... Blah. Starting yet another serial killer....not a good thing I don't think with how they have handled the previous ones.
