I think it will be interesting to see Rick's dad again.  I didn't mean that I wanted him to deal with Bracken himself..just maybe that he finds some other information or something that he can pass along to Rick and Kate that would help.  Something like that...  I do agree that at least with some stuff, Rick doesn't tell Martha as much as he tells Kate.  But this is about his dad..and Martha has talked about that being a wonderful night and all that before.  So with that, since he decided to tell her, I'm thinking he would tell her everything he found out.  Course this is just speculation.   Perhaps we will find out once he is back.

I could see Rick running with the idea of 3XK being back someway with that case.  I could see Kate saying no..it can't be at first.  But she would come around once they find the proof.  And like I said before, that could be why she has that look on her face at the end of the first preview.  She's realized he is back in some way..either he killed the Lanie clone, or his flunky did.

Not long now before the new episode! Looking forward to it!! And i've seen on the other forum aswell that alot of people think it might be 3XK that is being back aswell, or someone working for him. And that actually makes me think Andy got some surprises for us. He usually makes us think one thing, and do the complete different think and make it even more awesome! I just hope i dont have my hopes too high up. So, its only this episode and one more before the break huh? And Andy & co usually have a "mini cliffhanger" before the Christmas break. Interesting.

Just about 30 hours now for me to see the episode.  I think it looks like it will be really good.  One of the ..darker ones, which does make an interesting change. 

I know a lot of fans think it is tied to 3XK someway.  And evidently Marlowe said sometime - maybe over the summer - that he wanted to bring 3XK back.  So.  It could be.  Or it could be like you said that something else is going on.  Hmm.  Well...  Anyway, I think it should be good. 

I don't know if episode 10 will be next week or the week after... but that is supposed to be the last one before the winter break.  Least that is what I read about it before.  And it is a totally separate case from the one tomorrow night.  I think it should be interesting...there should be a few fun situations in it.

That was freaky and creepy at times.  The way the victims looked like Lanie and Esposito..the way the bodies were staged to look like they were just standing there at first.  Very good episode.  I like that while Kate was skeptical about 3XK being alive, she didn't ....belittle Rick's belief.  And Gates didn't dismiss the idea either..just let Kate know that they need plenty of evidence before making that an ...official theory.
I want to know what the hell was up with Kate's reaction to that song at the end.  Was it just that she finally believes 3XK is alive?  She thinks she and Rick are targeted now?  Did that song have some connection to her mom - like a favorite song or something?  Yes the song is creepy and seems to be a threat - we'll see each other again... - but the song alone enough to make her react like that?  She looks like her eyes are filling with tears.  Hmmm...did 3XK say something like that in interrogation before?  Ack.  I want answers.     And was that pen with the zip drive thingy the same pen the surgeon tried to give Kate earlier in the episode when she and Rick first showed up to question her?  If so, and that song was already there....creepy indeed.
Now we know a bit more about what is going on with Lanie and Esposito anyway.  And for a Lanie centric episode, she still really wasn't around that much.  Yes she was around more this time, but still not as much. 

Ohhhh.  I thought of something.  With that guy they had in interrogation at the end - I can't remember his name.  He claimed he killed the two look a likes.  Talked about the woman..said how the toes of her shoes got scuffed because she was just barely off the ground.  I'll have to watch again, but I think she was up a tad too high for the toes of her shoes to reach the ground.  If so, then I think that guy wasn't really there...he was taking credit for some reason..so 3XK would be free to continue to kill.  And the fact that those 2 stole all the files tied to 3XK makes it seem very clear to me that he is alive and behind what is going on.  And he's got himself a plastic surgeon girlfriend who has probably given him a nice new face.

I liked their scene at the beginning..talking about where to go on a honeymoon over breakfast.     Was that the loft?  I need to watch the episode again...if it was the kitchen in the loft, it was a different angle or something.  I don't remember seeing a kitchen at Kate's place.  Hmmmm.  And they were at the loft together at the end.  Makes it seem like she is there more often again anyway.  And they will be there in the next episode too.

The next episode could be fun with them taking care of a baby.  Should give them a chance to talk about if they want kids ..not that they are going to act on it immediately or anything.  Just talking about it.  But it looks interesting..and probably a bit more light hearted..which could be good after this one tonight.  Though I want the lingering issues addressed ...like now.  Hmmm...maybe if 3XK shows up again after the winter break, then maybe that is why Rick's dad comes back.  He sees what is happening or something and decides to help to protect his son.  Or not.  lol

What a great episode. And what amazing actors we got on this show! Just look how much they tell with only the facial expressions. I'm still speechless about the whole thing. And i see at the other forum aswell that people is talking about the final scene and how Kate reacted to that song. I'm wondering that too, why? Whatsup with that? But i guess we will get some answers later this season. Personally i think 3XK was behind it all, and we havent seen the last of him or her yet. Makes for a interesting second part of the season. Just a shame we have to wait over a month to see what will happen etc. Dont think we get any answer in the next episode. Wich looks kinda interesting aswell. Rick and Kate with a baby eh? I'm more interested in seeing Kate with a baby, we all know Rick got Alexis so..

It was a very good episode.  I'm still wondering what the heck about a few things.  And not in the annoyed way I do with Bones.   

I definitely want to know what is up with her reaction to that song.  I mean Rick looked a bit ...creeped out too, but it wasn't to the degree that Kate was.  The more I think about it - and I need to watch the episode again - the more I think that song had other meaning to Kate...and I'm leaning toward it being connected to her mother.  Of course, that would then raise the question of how the hell did 3XK find out about the song.  Finding out that her mom was murdered wouldn't be that difficult really..and 3XK has already shown  how....ummm...determined and focused he can be with all the work he put into framing Rick last year....even dating that woman as Rick for a while.  Managing to get in the loft undetected at least once.  Rick needs to put a security system in..of if he has one - I don't remember ever noticing a keypad thing by the door - he needs to use it.  How often have we seen him, Martha, or Alexis walk in or out and leave the door open?  Precautions people...precautions.  Anyway, back to my point..3XK could know about her mom's murder...but if that song has a connection to her mom - like a favorite song or something - then how did he know the connection?  Unless he got into Kate's place or something and found an old journal or something like that...which he could have done.  I put nothing past that guy.

I got to thinking last night.  When the doctor tried to give them the pen at first, did she put it more in front of Rick or Kate?  I can't remember for sure now, but I was thinking it was more toward Rick...in which case, the song could be more of a threat to him that 3XK still intends to get revenge.  And Kate finds the threat from 3XK ...more....hmm....dangerous than the other things Rick has faced maybe.  Ack.  I could speculate all night I think.  We need answers and an explanation for that, but I think you are right..it isn't coming soon.  I don't see it coming up in the next episode.  and I don't mind that the next one looks more...lighthearted after this one.  But..I want my answers.   

The way Kate reacted to that song..and that shudder she did...all of that made that final scene way more creepy than just the song playing would have.  And how Rick was just standing there, not saying anything...it was almost like he knows why that song is upsetting her.  I can't remember from the times when 3XK was around if he said anything about seeing them again or not.  I'd need to watch those episodes again.

I think I said this last night, but if not...I am even more convinced than I was before that 3XK is still alive..and killing.  If he wasn't behind all this, then why were all the files tied to him stolen?  Along with several other dead cases...Kate said a number..like 25 or something.  That makes me think those were his victims too, maybe before he got to his...signature style so to speak...or people he killed in other ways to throw the cops off track.  There was no evidence left behind...same thing that happened with 3XK kills.  And the way those two were killed is similar to his known method - the strangulation that cuts into the throat.  Even though the former women weren't found hanging, they had those marks on their necks.  And that plastic surgeon is in it up to her eyeballs.  He's probably got a nice new face.  The way that surgeon went on about Kate's face and making her perfect..that was creepy too.  There had to be some ulterior motive for her doing that.

Kick the Ballistics was on TNT here an hour ago.  I just watched a little at the beginning...including the little recap bit that showed when Rick figured out that he was 3XK.  After Rick said he wouldn't get away with it because we know what you look like and know your name, 3XK said he'd get a new face and that he'd done it before.  Which backs up the idea that the plastic surgeon was in it for a long time before too.  Also, from the recap, there was that other guy that confessed to the murders before they knew that Tyson was 3XK.  That guy last night - the security guard guy from the marina I think it was - is just like that I think.  For whatever reason, he's happy to take the blame for something 3XK did.  Does that guy have a whole...cult of wacko followers or something who think it is an honor to take the fall for him?  I know 3XK has been around for a while now..and even seems to be..unstoppable, but this doesn't aggravate me like Pelante did on Bones.  Part of it may be that this has been spread out more..and we had the backstory to know that 3XK was a vicious killer.  And..well...the story is just better. 

I do think the next episode should be interesting.  Rick looked so happy when he saw the baby.  Then maybe not as happy when the baby was fussing...and throwing up on him.  Perhaps he forgot that part of having a baby.

So, one of the best episodes this season. One of the better episodes of the show. Period IMHO! There was so much awesomeness.. And to be honest its ok that Andy & Co gives the other cast members a chance to shine! And they are doing a great job. Castle (the show) is real lucky to have so many crazy talented actors working for\with them. And we all know that its 3XK who's behind this. Its his work and now he's more dangerous then ever because of his helper or lover or wtf she was. But i'm not sure its Rick he\they will target next time i think it might be Kate.. 3XK have targeted Ryan, Rick, Lanie and Espo now. Only one left is Kate. Why whould he spare her? And WHEN that happens it will be interesting to see how Kate deals with it and how Rick deals with it. Kate is Rick's big love of his life we know. And we saw how Rick changed when Alexis was kidnapped. And for the last scene, wow wow and wow. Amazing acting! BY BOTH! That song did something with Kate, something real bad i think. And Rick knows exactly WHAT that song meant for Kate since he reacted the way he did. Hey look lets be honest. 3XK is smart, he's a dangerous genious. He always does his homework.. So thats interesting right there. Will Rick or Kate end up killing the guy? I was going to write a whole lot about this episode but now i forgot everything i was going to write! Fuck. I just watched a sneak peek for the next episode. And wow, it looked real great! Hehe. And without spoiling too much, i think Kate and Rick would be great parents together! but with that being said. Its not time yet for them to get kids! In the seriesfinale maby

Definitely one of the best episodes this year.  Very strong, powerful episode.

3XK has to be involved in some way...it doesn't make sense otherwise.  And his girlfriend/sister whoever and her being a plastic surgeon makes him more dangerous.  She seems just about as creepy as him. 

I believe that 3XK said something before about his way of getting Kate would be killing Rick while she was unable to stop it.  Something like that.  So directly going at Rick would really be going at both of them.  Well, really, if he goes directly at Kate, it will be going at both of them too.  It really doesn't matter who he focuses on, it will be going after both of them.  And with what he did last year, he knew that Rick and Kate were together then..so he already has sort of gone after both of them.  Rick's darker side will be front and center if Kate is hurt by 3XK..or clearly in danger.  Heck, it is probably surfacing at the end of the episode when he sees how the song makes Kate react.  He doesn't want to see her upset or scared like that, so he is going to do everything he can to fix the situation.  Rick may not be a cop, but he is dammed determined when he sets his mind on something...and he has resources so he could start trying to track 3XK off the grid or something like that.  And if he has a way of contacting his dad - books in the mail or whatever - he could ask his dad for help because Kate is in danger.  His dad would probably help because he has.....a specific set of skills that would help in that situation (just like Liam Neeson in Taken  )..and Rick is in danger too.  His dad hasn't been able to do much, but he could do that.  And that little quote from Brolin mentioned the darker side of the character.  He already showed what he was willing to do to help Rick and Alexis before...if he knows that 3XK is after Rick, I could see him acting..and going all Liam Neeson Taken on 3XK.

3XK is definitely smart.  And he's willing to plan and take a while to put the plan in motion - like what he did last year when he framed Rick.  3XK met that woman and dated her for ...what was it...a few months before killing her.  He was very careful about setting all that up.  And back before...he got himself arrested and sent to jail to lay low for several years.  He manipulates other people and gets them to take credit for things they didn't do.  The guy is smart...and careful.  But I do think he also likes getting credit for his kills.  Look at how elaborately he staged the bodies of his victims before.  And after he got back out of prison, instead of killing in a different way, he went back to his ....signature way of killing so to speak.  So he kind of wants the attention for what he does.  He may be able to ...fly under the radar for a while, but after so long, he won't be able to help himself, and he'll leave a staged crime scene again.  It is just a matter of time.  But, by having all the records stolen, he's made it that much harder for them to be able to tie it back to him and prove it is actually him and not a copycat or something.  Especially if any of those files had his DNA. 

I think the next episode looks to be fun and entertaining.  While I want answers - like yesterday  - for certain things tied to the last episode and 3XK, it will also be nice to have a ..lighter episode after how creepy and intense this one was.  I think Rick and Kate will be good parents too.  Rick has already done a good job with Alexis overall - he just should have put his foot down a few times.  Kate could help to balance that out a bit. And I agree...it is too soon for them to have kids.  Though I would like to see some of that going on before the final episode.  during the final season, let her be pregnant..show how they both react to that...Kate going into labor...will Rick freak out - can't find the car keys or he tells his mom to boil water or something - or will he be calm? stuff like that.

So, i got a million things to say about alot of stuff. But i'll try to keep it short again.  First thing first, lets talk about the last scene from last episode again. When that song played it looked like Kate was both scared, sad, shocked, and some other words my mom told me never to say in public And Rick just stood there and said nothing just like he knew very well what was going on. Lets hope we will get some answers to her reaction. And i think we will in a later episode. We usually get our answers with Andrew. (Its not like Bones at times) Usually its the other way around (Kate being the calm one) this time it was Rick. I wonder if any of the other crew will know about this or if it just stay between Rick and Kate? I'm not even sure Lanie & Co know as much as Rick does. And for 3XK's crew. I dont think he got many in his "crew" maby himself and that doctor lady. But like other creeps he might have some followers. Like we've seen in earlier episodes. I'm still not sure if that security guard was working for 3XK or if he was telling the truth. But we havent seen the last of 3XK or that crazy doctor. And both 3XK and that creepy doctor did play their part as sicko killers great. Great acting. But me personally think that when he's back next he will target Kate. Just to take the person that means almost the most to him. I think that would hurt Rick alot more, then to be haunted himself. And i read something about that Kate wasnt been targeted yet. Dont remember if that was in the summer hiatous or when i read something about that. And IF Kate's next will we then see Rick go all 'Taken' on us again? Like we saw when Alexis got kidnapped? But i dont know how it is for Rick to just "call" his dad for help. Remember how difficult it was\is to find him, because of his work and stuff. I'm not sure he would be able to find him. His number wouldnt be in the yellow pages prolly. (I might be wrong ofc) But i think his dad MR.CIA (i'll call him MR.CIA for now) has to find Rick. But i'm not sure they will use him in the 3XK plot. He's such a big name that he shouldnt be used in the plot. IMHO. I'm i just being stupid? I think we will have some real interesting episodes coming up after the Christmas break. And next episode is a lighthearted episode, and it looks like fun. And they are showing them with a baby. Are they trying to tell us something? Lets hope not! Not yet. FINAL SEASON. Thats it for me. Doesnt fit in otherwise. IMHO that is. But then again, now it is only a few days and a new episode and then it will be a month off huh? I dont mind that for Bones, but Castle? Not so much. Maby i'll use that time to catch up on some other tv-shows and some movies. And i see that people talking about how Rick will react etc to the baby, and IF Kate gets preggers. They forget something. ALEXIS! She's almost 20 now? My point being that Rick's been trough this before. Kate has not (not as we know of) so i think Rick will handle it just allright. Even tho its a long time since he had a baby last. And i think Kate will do a good job aswell. Guess we will have more answers in a few days Oh yeah, i'm interested to see how they will bring a murdercase in to the mix with the baby and all.

It did seem like Rick realized why Kate was reacting like that..and he did stay calmer for once.  Maybe that is the beginning of him going back into Taken mode.  I need to watch the episode again - I almost did last night - and watch his expression and eyes closer.  I am hopeful that we will get more of an explanation at some point too.  I'm just thinking it won't be in the next episode.  The guys probably don't know as much...Lanie...I don't know.  I could see her knowing a little more than the guys if Kate had confided something. 

I'm not sure about that guy they arrested this time either.  Was he learning from 3XK and then became the fall guy?  Did he really kill those two?  Is he happy to take the blame for some reason.  If I remember right, he said during the interrogation about how he admired 3XK.  Something along those lines.  The doctor fits well with 3XK though..and so handy to have a ..sidekick..partner...whatever that can change your appearance for you.  The actress playing that doctor sure was creepy too..and with the way she kept remarking about Kate's face..and making her perfect.  Freaky.

If 3XK is able to hurt Kate in some way, I could see Rick going Taken again.  And I know that Rick can't just call his dad.  I just meant if he knew of some sort of way of contacting him with a coded message or something.  I could see Rick trying to get help from whoever he thought could help if Kate was in enough danger.  And his dad does have that lovely particular set of skills that Rick saw in action.  Not saying it will happen..just that I could see it happening in some way.  Or maybe Mr. CIA contacts Rick at some point because he's still been keeping an eye on them from a distance.  He's done it all of Rick's life, I don't think he is going to stop now.  Even if that doesn't happen, I can still see Rick trying to do some digging on his own to find 3XK and Dr. Psycho. 

The next episode looks to be fun.  I read somewhere that Terri - Andrew's wife - wrote it.  There should be good stuff after the Christmas break too.  I just hate how long we have to go with no new Castle.  Like you said, I wouldn't care if Bones was off for that long.  Yup, the final season would be fine for a Castle baby..so we get to see some of it.    Ohh...that reminds me.  Ryan and Jenny's baby will be coming before much longer too.  After all the teasing that Esposito has done about the baby, it would be funny to see him turn into a big ol pile of mush when he sees the baby.  Especially if it is a girl.  Uncle Javi...  Then he could talk about how she isn't allowed to date until she's 30 or something like that.

And it looks like a fun episode written by Terri! Do you watch the sneaks aswell or? I dont have much to say today really. Guess i'll have a bit more after i've done some rewatching of the last one. I've seen ..umm...I think 3 sneek peeks for the new episode, in addition to the one that aired at the end of the episode.  It looks really cute.  Be interesting to see Rick be more...hmm...comfortable in a situation while Kate is the one clueless..for a bit.  I think she'll catch on.

First...did you notice that the homeless guy that the guard - who gets arrested..I've forgotten his name again..ack - seemed to back again later in the episode?  When they are arriving at the hotel - the infamous hotel where 3XK got away from Rick and Ryan before - just as the scene starts, it was right after a commercial break here, a guy, who coughs, walks by ..possibly across the street from the hotel..couldn't tell for sure.  Anyway, I think it is the same guy.  It looked like he was wearing the same hoodie/coat..and the cough sounded similiar too.  Not that it was exactly the same..I think one was longer than the other or something..just the...vocal tone of it or something like that.  It would be too much of a coincidence for the same homeless guy to just happen to be at both places, at least a day apart and who knows how far apart the first scene and the hotel are.  So no.  I think it is the same person...and can you guess who I think it is?    I think that was 3XK...overseeing his work...keeping track of how much the cops had figured out..something like that.  I think the other guy is a scapegoat/decoy - I think I'll call him that now... Mr. Decoy.     Anyway, I think it is possible that 3XK and Mr. Decoy know each other somehow...maybe even worked together somewhat.  Remember during the interrogation, Mr. Decoy said something about admiring the work of 3XK - I don't remember the exact wording now.  And Mr. Decoy also told Kate that they thought they had it all figured out but they were wrong...  something more is definitely going on and I'm convinced it is 3XK.  Even more so after watching the episode again.

Also...at the beginning, when he finds the body, Mr. Decoy seems too...genuinely surprised.  He thought she was alive and just standing there at first.  Why would he have acted like that if he had killed her?  Yes he talked about it to Kate, but I don't buy it.  It doesn't add up.  And it looked like to me that her feet were just a little too high off the ground for the toes of her shoes to barely touch the ground like he said... I don't know..something is off I think.  I'm thinking that 3XK decided to kill in the way that Mr. Decoy killed in Florida...either they knew each other..worked together back there..or 3XK and Dr. Psycho somehow figured it out..she was in Florida when those murders took place down there.  Yes it would be elaborate...but that is what 3XK does.

I read something about that same being the two different places. And i saw a picture somewhere of the dude. It could look like Tyson! It wouldnt surprise me at all. Andrew is a genious in that regard. So i need to rewatch the episode again, to catch some more details. And i've seen the latest episode. And that too was a good episode, but in a complete different way ofcourse! So, i gotta ask. Is it Christmas break now? I know shows like 'The Mentalist' got atleast one more episode before break. Havent catched up on Bones yet. Have you?
