She already on top of it. She is good that way. She came up with things I never though of. And she is on the waiting list for a job already. Has been since she decided to go there.

Work was never an option for me.  It was a required part of my financial aid package.

I'm sure you and Brit are going to have a wonderful time.

Take a lot of pictures along the way - the views will be beautiful. Of course I want to see a lot of Brit's school and the two of you there also.

Don't worry... I will be taking lots of pictures. Not sure how many I will actually be in though... as I will be the one to take most all the pictures. But I will try to get some of me in there. Maybe I can get Rhiana (Britt's roommate) to take some of us together.

This time tomorrow morning we will be on bus #2 of 3. With just over 4 and a half hours before getting to our destination.

Can you make photos from inside the hound? I always wondered if they look like the ones used in television.

Until this year Germany didn't have busses that travelled between cities (unless they are local busses and the cities are quite close to each other).

This was due to the fact that since the beginning of the post-war republic every government protected the interests of the railway system which was owned by the country for many decades.

But for almost two decades now the railway is a public company (even though most shares are still held by the country) and private bus companies have gone to the German constitutional court and the European Union courts to get this favouritism overturned.

Ironically by now it's far more cheaper to fly from Karlsrueh to Berlin (700km / 435mi) than travel the same route by train - and you're faster. Busses are even cheaper but they take much longer.

I will do my best to get some... depending on how crowded the bus is.

We just had some family over... the came over to say goodbye to Brittany. We leave here in about 5 hours now.  Excited and nervous all at once!
