HBO executives Michael Lombardo and Richard Plepler told press there will be another series in the same vein as Band of Brothers and The Pacific. It will be based on the aerial battles over the Pacific.

One day, I will watch The Pacific. I own it, it's mine to watch, and therefore, I will watch it!  :training:

Maybe we should do it together

Although, I can't quite decide if I should go for Game Of Thrones first...

I was seriously underwhelmed by The Pacific.
I know several people who binned it off of their recording/viewing schedules.

Game of Thrones is on the other hand fantastic.

I hope The Paific will at least have the benefit that it is about a part of the war we rarely see otherwise.

I did go or Game of Thrones first and am up to episode 6 so far. With that 6th episode it really kicked into gear, making 1-5 feel a lot like exposition. Funny how much it plays like a soap, yet it's compelling. Funny how it is in his fantasy world yet (normally not my genre) but that doesn't seem to matter. Looking forward to order season 2 soon, too.
