Any fans? Tyson Fury fighting in 20 minutes and he is one of my faves at the moment. He's a big gypsy fighter who has poor technical ability, but when he lands a punch, then boy does he land it. He's unbeaten at the moment and should get one of the Klitschko Brothers very very soon if he keeps up.

Providing he doesn't knock himself out that is

That was too easy for Fury. A professional win against a boring opponent.

Boring is okay as long as your fighter won!

I was a little bit of a boxing fan when I was younger, but not anymore. They need to shorten the rounds and get the match over with since these days they spend 90% of each round blocking with 5 or 6 check-swings every minute and maybe one or two blows or so from time to time until the last rounds (or when there is a big opening) where they finally possibly raise holy hell on each other.

It's always amused me watching guys beat the crap out of each other where one guy wins; he's standing there with a black eye almost swollen shut, a busted lip, and smeared blood; and the first thing he does is thank God for the victory.

Yea, I'm sure when God set out with his plans, people pounding each other into a pulp was something on the top of his list.

I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!

2 pair of Ali gloves just broke a record for boxing paraphernalia at a public auction: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/boxing/two-pair-muhammad-ali-fight-worn-gloves-fetch-163953588--box.html.

I'm going to see (and hopefully meet) Richard Dunn at an opening event on the 7th December. He's a former heavyweight and fought Ali back in the day. He's opening up a pub that his cousin has bought.

His name sounded familiar so I looked him up and I remember him! If you get to meet him be sure and let us know - and a picture would be nice too!
