Scrubs: Season 9
« on: July 26, 2012, 09:59:01 PM »
I just watched the first two episodes of season 9 (last season) of Scrubs on On-Demand. I have to say... wow! did that show go downhill in it's last season! They completely changed the format of the series and several of the regular cast members are gone (or reduced to short guest roles). What a disappointment! Here I only need this final season in my DVD collection to complete the series... but now I don't know if I should even bother. Of course being the completest that I am... I am sure I will add it eventually as long as I get it very cheap or free. I had so much fun with this series the first 8 seasons... so it is such a shame to see it go downhill so badly in it's final season.

Yeah, season 9 wasn't good, but by the end, I was starting to enjoy the new characters and it really isn't as bad as it should've been.

There was a great interview somewhere with the creator, where he admits it wasn't very good and even though he knew most of the cast would not return properly he agreed to make another season purely because it meant all the close friends he had made on the set would be guaranteed another year of work. He eems a genuine bloke.
