My Review:
So, this is the movie i like the least of the 5 so far. I'm not going to say to much about it really. I can see they tried, but the story didnt get to me that much, as the other movies in the series did. And i didnt like the cast the had for this one aswell, why not use some of the 'original' crew? Why use a complete different\new cast? And the acting wasnt the best i've seen either. But i will not be only negative tho. Even tho the story didnt get to me as much as the others and the with the originals, it was an ok story, and i really liked the music in the movie. And there was some ok scenes. An ok action movie, but for the franchise (for me) it failed. If you like the F&F series, then you have to check it out i guess.

My Review:
Ok, so that was interesting. So i wanted to check out this movie for two reasons, 1, people said great things about it. 2, Jennifer Lawrence! I liked her since i saw 'Winters Bone' and after she just won an Oscar, i decided to check this one out. The movie was an ok one, with a good story, nothing original at all. A bit predicteble (but again, in the horror\thriller genre, whats original anymore?) The movie had its moments here and there. But was a bit slow aswell, for a horror. But for me, it wasnt that much of a horror\thriller, but more of a drama\thriller. It had a cool twist in it aswell, wich is always a good thing. And i liked Jennifer Lawrence's character 'Elissa' i think she did a great job with what she had. All in all, an ok drama\thriller (IMO) With Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role, doing a good job IMO. If you find it for a cheap penny, check it out! But i wouldnt pay full price for it.

My Review:
So, that was a allright movie. I didnt know what to expect really, other than what some people told me. So i didnt have any expactions really going in to this one. First of i just want to say that this being B&W was just a bonus. Something i didnt expect really. But the movie was great, a quite interesting story with a Jack Lemmon doing a great role in this one. A fun and serious movie at once, with some smart lines here and there. A movie with great actors, and some great and smart lines (as said) A bit different movie that i would think it would be. But a good mix between comedy and drama (IMO) I really enjoyed it from start to finish. For me, a classic. That i would highly recommand you guys to check out!

My Review:
Meh. I was kinda looking forward to this one, and i have to admit that i had my expactations up a bit, since i've seen the 3 movies before this, and really enjoyed it. But with this one, something was a bit off. The story was a bit dull to be honest, and the movie was a bit too slow for my liking aswell. The movie had its moments (i will give it that) as a single horror movie, it wasnt too bad actually. But looking at the franchise (wich was one of the better horror franchises IMO, 1-3) but this one wasnt quite there. Was too long from each moment, and looking back at the others, it was more stuff going on. "better acting" And i read your review of this one aswell 'Movieman' and i agree with alot of what you are saying. For me, it wasnt all bad, it had its moments. But personally, i think its enough with 4 movies. Stop "when tey are on top" but by looks of things, i think there will be a movie number 5 aswell. Dont know if thats a good or a bad thing. If you liked and have watched the 3 movies before this, give it a shot for a cheap penny.

My Review:
Well, so that was an interesting movie. I got this cheap in a 3D pack. And i've heard stuff about it, but never seen it. The movie had a ok story. Had me laugh a few times. But for me personally, the movie was a bit too slow at times, and some of the things was just out of place IMO. And there was a few things i didnt like thar much either. A few missed opportunities IMO. They could have done a bit more in some places. And for the 3D aspect of it all. There was a few good spots, where they did a real good job. (when some of the stuff was raining from the sky) But for the depth of the 3D, not the best i've seen. All in all, an ok movie, with some ok 3D effects. If you find it for a cheap penny, check it out.
Nothing i would pay full price for anyways.

This is in my to watch pile so I'm disappointed to hear the 3D didn't live up to your expectations. The only movie I've seen in 3D out the set so far is Open Season which I think did a very commendable job though, so don't lose hope!

My Review:
So i've wanted to start on the Hitchcock boxset now for awhile. And there is a few great movies in this blurayset that i've both seen and not seen. (A.Hitchcock is\was one of my favourites) So i started with a movie that i havent seen before, but heard alot of great things about. I liked what they did with the movie, a bit different story, but it had me glued to the screen from start to finish. And even tho it didnt happen' much in the movie, they managed somehow to both keep the suspence trough out, and you (me) didnt know what would happen. Great mix between suspence and drama, and well played by the cast. And since i havent seen it before now on blu. I cant say anything about the DVD format or anything. But i really liked the bluray, great picture quality and sound quality for its age. Once again a masterpiece from Hitchcock IMO. Another movie i recommand you guys to check out. Just a few minor things they could have done a bit better, but all in all a great movie IMO.

The Rope is one of those films that I like through and through. Some of the visuals are different but they engage me each time i see it.
One of my fav Hitchcock films. Right there with the macabre humor of "Trouble with Harry" or off beat of "The Wrong Man". And 1949 to me was really about the start of his *vision*. Had done good films recently before but was really maturing.
Great flick

I agree with you on 'Rope' a movie that i will be watching again. When it comes to 'Trouble With Harry' i've never seen that either (yet) but that was next in line actually, before you commented on it. So next Hitchcock movie would have to be that one

My Review:
So, before i write about the movie, i just want to say something. 'So i guess, that was that huh?' I know the movie have "won" or shall we say "gotten" a few razzies etc, because how bad it was etc. And i'll admit that the movie isnt the best written movie, or Oscar worthy acting all the time. But for some reason i actually enjoy the 'Twilight Saga' its an ok 2 hours spent IMO. The story was how i thought it would be, and the story was allright too IMO, it kinda fit right in there. And i actually liked what they did with it, the sound was good, the picture quality wasnt too bad either. And i have to admit that (even tho i know many dont) i kinda got a crush on Kristen Stewart
And that helps a bit too. For you twilightfans out there, this is ofc a must have. (if you havent seen it alllready) and for you guys that are sceptical about 'Twilight' and havent seen any of them yet. Give'em a try You might enjoy some of them.

I *enjoyed* part "Breaking Dawn, Part 2" but for some reason think part 1 was better.
But I too enjoyed the whole series. Like many films, especially *teen angst* films, what do people expect? It ain't
To Have and Have Not
nor
Key Largo
but they are good passable love stories and fun twists on the Vampire/Werewolf (where wolf) genre.
The Twilight film series has grossed over $2billion and that is a lot of tickets. An i would be willing to bet that the majority of those theater goers enjoyed the films they saw. THAT is a great task ... more than the folks at Rotten Tomatoes have ever accomplished <G>
Yep ... lot of fun. That reminds me that I have to start looking for bargins on the last 2 films ... thanks

I always like looking at other peoples thoughts and see if I feel the same but the main thing is, a film could have a million poor reviews, if you enjoyed it then that is all that matters.
I've the third film in my to watch pile.
