From what I've read it isn't really good... Michael Rooker and John McNaughton aren't back and it's a R rated film (a 1996 R so expect something lame with no atmosphere or subtility)

Title: 90 Minutter
Year: 2012
Director:
Rating: 15 år
Length: 91 Min.
Video: Widescreen 2.35:1
Audio: Norsk: Dolby Digital: 5.1
Subtitles: Engelsk, Norsk

Stars:
Aksel Hennie
Pia Tjelta

Plot:

My Review:
So, i dont know what to say really about this movie. This was a movie that was REALLY hyped up here in Norway, and a movie that i had real expactations for! (Not good, i know) A Norwegian movie with some of the biggest Norwegian names in it. A movie with a very strong story about three different lifes and their last 90 minutes of their lifes. (there of the name. 90 Minutter = 90 Minutes) But, the movie (for me) really never took off. It was a bit too slow for me, and even though the story was strong, and the acting was good. It never gave me that "wow" feeling. So i dont know really if this is something i would watch again. (maby) For you scandies out there, check it out if you find it for a cheap penny.
Just have to say, real great acting! That put the movie a bit up for me.

My Review:
So i just watched this movie with two friends of mine.  I've heard alot of great things about it. And its based on a true story (wich is always a plus in my book) So for the movie itself i have to say that the story was a bit different story, but a very good story. (I dont where and when all this happend) And i liked what they did it all. A movie mixed with both suspence and action from finish to end. Both  Mr.Denzel Washington and Chris Pine did a great job in this movie. A good action\suspence movie i truly enjoyed from start to finish. And i just have to say 'wow' what a great sound quality they have in this movie. Just amazing! A real good movie that gets your bloodpump running! A movie that i would recommand everyone to check out! Real good action\suspence flick IMO!

My Review:
This was a blind buy actually, when they had a huge sale on one of the local video stores here. And since i got it for a real cheap penny and i am a fan of Morgan Freeman's work, why not? So for the movie itself. I didnt know what to expect ofc, (havent seen the trailer or anything) so i went in it with zero expactions. And i think that was a good idea. Its a movie that impressed me in alot of ways. I liked the story with a twist. The story was interesting and well played by the crew. And what they have done with the special efects in this movie was great aswell! (I dont know if they have used alot of money on it, or what) But i really liked the special efects in this movie. Even though the movie had me in the seat trough out the movie, there was a few things i didnt like with the movie aswell. Some of the acting wasnt good enough for me. And some of the spots just seemed a bit too rushed aswell. And i think they could have done a bit more with the ending in the movie too. So all in all a good movie that i would recommand you to watch. A bit different movie tho, but still a good one.

My Review:
Well, to be honest i didnt know much about Edgar Allan Poe, before i heard about him in an episode of 'Castle' And after that i've read alot about him etc. So when i found out that they was making this movie, and after seeing the trailer i just had to get it. And again (!) i had too big expactions for the movie i think. It says its a horror\suspence. Well, more suspence (IMO) than horror. And interesting (but not too original) story. I liked what they did with the story actually, and i liked who they made the killer\badguy in the end. Nice twist. And the filming\editing was ok too in this one. But the movie want a bit too slow for me, from the beginning and waay over half trough it, nothing much happend really. Its kinda stood still really. And after that, it wasnt much happening really. But the movie saved itself with a good story, and some good acting by some. All in all, an ok movie. That you could check out if you find it cheap. Not the best i've seen. But not the worst i've seen either. And totally ok movie. But thats about it (for me)

I did like 'The Raven'.  It is Edgar Allen Poe in name only (and a few bits from his life) but other than that I found it a good watch.  The 'mood' of the film was great and the storyline wasn't that bad.  Cusack was .. well Cusack.  I like the ending.  I was happy to buy this one when it came out.

Thanks for the reminder

Thanks for the review - it's one I want to see. Whatever you do though, don't waste your time with the movie of the same name directed by Ulli Lommel. It's horrifically bad.
