I thought that Under Siege was OK, as Seagal movies go. I didn't like Under Siege 2 at all. I don't quite know why. I'm going to revisit both and see if I feel different now. Going into #2 with lower expectations might help.

I kind of though Seagal really started to get his stride in the second one.  More insane plot (more insane than watching Tommy Lee Jones play air guitar  :tomato: ), better fight action (love the fight in the kitchen) and even better dialog :)
Thank you

More insane plot is probably what turned me off.

Under Siege 2 is the one on the train, with Eric Bogosian? I may actually have seen that one.

I did quite like the first one, it was solid action and at the time the concept of "Die Hard with ____" was not played to death yet.

My Review:
So i watched this last night, and i remembered alot more of this, than i did with the first one. But i actually enjoyed this. Enjoyed it more then the first. And when you watch the movie and you see Steven Seagal there fighting the badguys on that train, you cant help to notice that alot of the stuff he does is just ridiculus. But it has its moments here and there. Not the worst action movie i've seen.

My Rating:

My Review:
Well, to be honest i've wanted to check out this movie because of Leo and Kate's relationship in real life. Everyone knows that they are bestfriends, and have been since Titanic. And the movie was real interesting really, strong story from the 50's. And just to see how proffesional Kate and Leo is infront of the camera, pure class. And the acting aswell? Just amazing. This was just a real solid movie that i really enjoyed! Check it out if you havent done yet! And it got some real good extras aswell. And i really hope we do see the two together again in another movie soon! (Leo and Kate)

Title: The Departed
Year: 2006
Director: Martin Scorsese
Rating: Rated R : Strong Brutal Violence, Pervasive Language, Some Strong Sexual Content and Drug Material
Length: 151 Min.
Video: Widescreen 2.40:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, English: PCM: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1

Stars:
Leonardo DiCaprio
Matt Damon
Jack Nicholson

Plot:
Rookie cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) grew up in crime. That makes him the perfect mole, the man on the inside of the mob run by boss Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). It's his job to win Costello's trust and help his detective handlers (Mark Wahlberg and Martin Sheen) bring Costello down. Meanwhile, SIU officer Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) has everyone's trust. No one suspects he's Costello's mole. Martin Scorsese directs this visceral tale of crime and consequences that's searing, can't-look-away filmmaking: like staring into the eyes of a con – or a cop – with a gun.

My Review:
wow, what a movie. I dont think i've seen this since it came out years ago. And today i had some time to kill and decided to check it out again. I loved everything about this flick. Just a classic! Martin Scorsese did it again! Its ofc highly recommanded!
