Plot:
There are no rules in The Game - and that will make life very difficult for Nicholas Van Orton (Michael Douglas), a successful businessman who is always in control. Van Orton lives a well-ordered life, until an unexpected birthday gift from his brother (Sean Penn) destroys it all. Van Orton has been enrolled in a game—"a profound life experience"—that begins quietly but soon erupts in a rush of devastating events. Like it or not, he must either win, or lose control of everything in his life.

My Review:
Well, wtf? To be complete honest, this movie was just weird. I've had this in my unwatched pile forever, i dont even know why i bought it. Guess it was a blind buy. I just didnt get the point with this movie at all. There was some moments, and Mr.Douglas did a good job as almost always. I'm 100% serious when i asked this question now (i'm still confused) but for you guys that have seen this. What was the story and the point with this movie? I still dont get it really. I mean, i saw the movie and know "the story" but nah. Still confused!

I enjoyed this movie a lot.  Things were never what I thought and twists were interesting.  Like the characters and action.
And it did loosen him up

I quite like The Game as well. Although, when pressed, I might have a hard time to say what the point was, other than people getting more and more stupid ideas what to do with their time and money.

If it's any consolation, Piffi, I didn't like The Game, either. But possibly for slightly different reasons.

I can see how The Game is not everybody's cup of tea. In fact I did not like it all that much after my first viewing.

I usually dislike films that "cheat". IMO a film should set up its reality from the beginning and stick to it. I mean what if James Bond suddenly found a time machine and traveled back in time to save the world? By the same token I get upset when a film, like The Game, sets itself up as relatively realistic (if far fetched) and then ends with an utterly unrealistic finish. It just totally ruins it for me. That's also why I didn't like Inglourious Basterds, because it sets itself up as something that realistically could have happened in WWII, and then ends in a major deviation from historical fact.

I'm not saying that filmmakers cannot do things like that. But personally I dislike it very much.

The one thing that really bothers me about the ending:

I actually don't mind, that they already assumed that he will jump. What really grinds my gears is, that after he fell through the glass roof, there is a shot where you see him falling through steel girders. Now THAT is highly improbable that he is not hitting one of those but falls straight through one of the gaps. I could they possibly ensure that

Plot:

My Review:
So, i've been waiting for this movie to come out for a while. And they made it work. Had some good moments here and there and got some real good lines trough out. And i have to say that enjoyed Jennifer Aniston in this one! A comedy you shouldnt watch with your youngest kids! But its recommanded to check out! And the extended version had some great extras.

My Review:
That was actually a great movie. I enjoyed the first two in the series aswell. But this third and prolly the last one in the series was the best IMHO. 'Snabba Cash' is a Swedish gangster\action movie. And 'Snabba Cash' means "Fast\Easy Cash" and the movies is about two crimefamilies from Serbia that are fighting over drugs in Sweden. And alot of great moments trough out. And some good acting from the cast aswell. I highly recommand you guys to check it out.

My Review:
Well, first of i have to say that i have never seen 'Deep Throat' and i never will. But i heard the stories and when this movie was going to be made (With Linsey Lohan at first) i wanted to check it out, to see what it was all about. Its a strong movie, and a sad movie to watch. And get a good look behind the scenes what the sorry excuse of a husband forced her to do. Wich makes me sick to see btw!  But Amanda Seyfried did a good job as Linda Lovelace IMHO. Recommanded to check out.

I don't know who told Amanda Seyfried that she is an actress, but he/she lied, Seyfried has the same acting capabilities as Ashton Kutcher and exactly the same mimic capabilities as Steven Seagal and this way always looks like the first walking and talking Barbie.
