I have to say I find the jaw-drop reaction rather false and this list bears that out, apart from Chinatown. The type of movie has to be quite specific, I think, and it's dictated by who is shocked and the shocker.
I have no idea why I don't care for Leonardo DiCaprio - he's fine in the movies I've seen him in - it's just an instinctive reaction.
