Hi,

I just updated the forum Software to version 1.1.15 and the Portal version to 1.0 RC2.

If something doesn't work the way it used to / it should, please let me know.

And in case there is an empty white bar on the left side, click on the "-" right beside the menu bar and it should be gone. The label says "Shrink or apand the header" and I have no idea where to disable it altogether.

Ahhh....so that's what happened.

The images for covers of DVDs don't seem to be working...at least they aren't in my Halloween marathon thread...I was working on a few posts, and then they stopped working.  I don't know if it has happened in other threads too or if it is just from my posts.

Just did a little looking...the images are in Pete's posts...  a few are in mine, that I got online for movies I watched on tv.  The ones from Profiler aren't working now.  So do I need to change the code or something?

Something seems to be strange with the "Recent Topics" list.

Having such a bad memory I can't really put my finger on the difference, but it's definitely different to yesterday.
Is it font-size maybe?

I was a bit confused about everything being pushed to the right till I read this thread. Thanks. I haven't been on the site much yet today. So will let you know if I see anything else.

I have a backup of everything and I'm going to install it tonight on my local machine. Then I can look for more differences.

Besides the forum I also had to update the portal (i.e. the front page). That might explain the font difference.

I believe the fonts were changed by the new version of the portal, it wouldn't be the first time.  I wonder what would happen if you just replaced the css files with the older ones, maybe things would be back to what they were.

The bug with the "+" seems to be in the Ocean Blue theme.

Maybe we should change to a different one.

Check out http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/ and look if some of them look good.

The "Ocean blue theme" is one I created myself after copying the default theme.  If you change it you're going to loose the "Reviews List:" alphabet bar at the top and the mini-city stuff.  This is just a suggestion Karsten but if you consider doing that and are willing to loose this, maybe it's worth upgrading to SMF 2.0, although it's possible that some of the mods won't work or will have to be reinstalled.

The upgrade to 1.1.5 was already more troubling than I had expected.

The "Recent Topics" list on the main page looks off for me. I am not sure, but I think the font size has changed.

I seldomly use the main page. Usually just go straight to the forum. But looking at it today. Didn't there used to be 3 featured reviews? 2 movies and 1 TV Series?  Is that from this update... or something that was changed a while back and I never noticed?
