I watched Breaking In because there isn't anything else on at that time that I was watching, so I decided to give it a try.

I'll watch Family Guy sometimes...mostly because there isn't anything else on at that time that I want to watch.

Marie watch your dvd when a case like this happen

I do a lot of times.  But sometimes I just leave whatever is on for like a half hour or hour because there is something else coming on I want to watch.

If they really un-cancel Breaking In then the only show I've lost so far is Human Target

I lost V and The Event.  However, in both cases, I'm not sure if that's a loss or a win!

Glad to hear. The series sucked from the beginning.

(I seriously hope that the original Law & Order getting canceled, which was connected somehow to a failed negotiation with Dick Wolf, wasn't because he was pushing this show and they simply didn't want so many different Law & Order shows on at one time.)

I watch Fringe

I forgot about that show, but I watch it on DVD only. I didn't even know what channel it came on.

Good thing there was nothing funny about the subject of this show... The fact that almost all the manufacturing jobs in North America has gone to Asian countries isn't a thing to laugh at.

I never watched that one..just the set up of the show turned me off.  Like you said Jimmy, the situation isn't funny.

Good thing there was nothing funny about the subject of this show... The fact that almost all the manufacturing jobs in North America has gone to Asian countries isn't a thing to laugh at.

I don't think the show itself looked very good. Never grabbed me. But I disagree about the subject. It is awful that it happens, but it does happen worldwide in all sorts of industries, especially mine and because it happens, normal people have to deal with it and when normal people deal with things, sooner or later, it's funny.

In Slumdog Millionaire, I loved the scenes in the Indian call centre where calls are being taken from disgruntled customers or where they read UK listings magazines so they know all about the soap operas! That's ironic and funny.

It's not a nice thing to happen, but then a lot of premises of sitcoms start with such subjects and if they identify with the characters properly, that melancholic backdrop can make for great drama. To snub any film or TV show simply because you don't agree with its subject is being blinkered, because the show itself probably doesn't agree either.

I been watching Outsourced... but I am not surprised it is being canceled. It was barely keeping me as a viewer. It just wasn't that good of a show no matter of the subject.

We will have to agree we disagree on this one. For me not everything is funny and a show about the fact that Occidentals can't find a job in the industry anymore to make a good living wich bring the complete degradation of cities that were nice place to live isn't a laughing matter.

But what do I know... maybe the next funny sitcom will be set in an abortion clinic
