I'm guessing they should be 10.99, as priced at Amazon and a couple of others.

Always confused me how they can get away with this, go into one of their shops and see something on the shelf and it is incorrectly price and they honour it, i went into Asda this morning on the way home and they had Drag Me to Hell on the shelf marked up at £5 took it to the till and it scanned at £8 there was no argument they just did it for the shelf price

To be fair to them, there has to be more protection on-line because technology can be to blame, let alone data operators who may not spot a missed decimal point or something. In a shop, there is absolutely no excuse because they can see the prices as easily as anyone else and they have to glue them to shelf, which at least explains somewhat why mistakes can be more dramatic. I know you might think I'm making excuses for them, but it still sticks in my mind about an on-line firm (Encore?) years ago that folded because they tried to honour prices following their system going nuts. Stuff was very cheap, as well as one or two items priced way too high. I got one of the Angel boxsets for £30, when it should have been £75, but other people were taking the piss and buying everything they could, obviously to sell on. Like I say, they went bust, which no-one deserves.

Where HMV have failed is just dismissing it. Amazon do the same, sending you a mail that basically says "tough". I remember when Play did it though and sent a 10% voucher as apology. Then, they cancelled the voucher and replaced it with one for £10 instead! The irony is, as is so often the case, I wasn't actually bothered about the item I'd tried to buy.

You also have to consider, that online a mislabled price spreads like fire and probably a lot of people (hundreds or maybe thousands of people) are ordering it. It could potentially ruin a business. As far as I remember, in the early days of online shopping when not yet a lot of people were ordering online, chances were better that shops were honoring mislabled prices.
