Badlands
The Thin Red Line

If you want to know where Tarantino got the inspiration for (for not saying "copied from") "Natural Born Killers / True Romance" check "Badlands". Highly recommended

Badlands is on my List of Shame, meaning, one of the films I'm ashamed I haven't watched yet.

On mine too. Meaning: Why haven't I got the DVD yet. Latest excuse: I'm waiting for the BluRay.

The Thin Red Line

I recently picked up Badlands but have yet to watch it, Days Of Heaven or The New World yet.

There is a difference between owning a DVD and having watched a movie.
While I watched "Badlands" several times (3, if I recall correctly), I don't own the DVD (yet).
Taking into consideration my "Unwatched"-pile, owning the DVD doesn't necessarily have to mean I watched the movie.

I was going by your response like this:

Antares said, that Badlands is in his List of Shame. You agreed that it is on your List of Shame as well. I therefor assumed you hadn't seen it either...

I will be waiting with you now :D

I wasn't very keen on Badlands. It looks beautiful, but I just wasn't keen on the story. I want to give it another go though. Days of Heaven, I haven't seen. The Thin Red Line is wonderful, while The New World is pretty good, but has way too much story. I think I'd like to have seen him do something like Apocalypto, because New World feels like something Gibson passed on! Apart from, again, the gorgeous photography.

Who's looking forward to Tree of Life? I was really impressed with the trailer.
