Wow, what an interesting month! It looked like I was going to (unintentionally) go the whole month without a single re-watch. Doomsday fixed that, but also traumatised our guest. A bit of a war theme going on through the middle of the month, switching to a bit of craziness toward the end.

Although I don't know where it would rank overall, Psycho is a new favourite, and I still love Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Speaking of vs., it was pure coincidence that my last two films for May were "vs." films.

Neil Marshal's Doomsday...? While one can argue about the crappiness of the main part of the film, the final car chase is just pure awesomeness and properly reminds me of the films he is paying homage to.

Yep, the Neil Marshall one. I've loved each of his movies except Centurion.

Well, there is less love for Doomsday than for Dog Soldiers or The Descent from me. Centurion wasn't bad, in my opinion I saw it on par with Doomsday, except Doomsday gets lifted up my the chase scene.

this idscussion made me look... IMDb lists Burst 3D and Underground as In Development, but details are only available through IMDbPro. He is also shown as Executive Producer for 2012's The Haunting

I can't pinpoint what ruined Centurion for me, but I couldn't get involved. Perhaps he's better at modern settings, or maybe he needs freedom to create his own world and rules. Whatever the case, it doesn't rank for me, and won't make my collection.

Wikipedia has a brief synopsis of each of his upcoming films. Based on the above, the latter two look the most promising to me. That said, I had been really keen on Centurion (Sword & Sandal and Neil Marshall :drooling:).

Seeing how much you watch I am actually a bit surprised how low the number is :headscratch: You must have watched. Lot TV shows, I guess.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, even I have watched more than 100 movies this year.  :P And I vaguely recall Pete hitting such a number within a month or so.

No cinema visits in June. I'll have to fix that this month! (One session under my belt already, and two planned trips this month, plus any unscheduled visits. Should be a good month with the big screen).
