Pretty good, we actually didn't end up having a BBQ but had a big vegetarian Mexican feast of burritos and nachos (almost everyone there was veggo). At one point in the night another party down the road of people we knew decided to join ours so our numbers doubled rather quickly. One of my friends did lock himself in the bathroom at one point and either passed out or fell asleep on the floor (had a lot to drink) and we couldn't get to him for ages. It was pretty funny afterwards, but we had to break into the bathroom window to check that he was sleeping and not dead, but eventually he turned around so we went on with our night.  :laugh:

Happy New Year!

Who will be the first to get any DVDs or Blu-rays this year?  I have some coming but the earliest they could get here would be Monday since there is no mail delivery here today or Sunday.  I expect this will be a light year for DVDs for me since I am now shifting towards Blu-ray.  I may get some TV shows in DVD, though...will minor companies like Lionsgate (who are releasing Boy Meets World now) be issuing things in Blu-ray?

I also understand Oprah Winfrey's new network is now started up inm the U.S.  I should look and see if I get it, though I'm not sure what programming on it would interest me.

 :laugh:  I've now found out I do indeed get OWN...which stands for Oprah Winfrey Network.  I don't know that they'll have anything on it that interest me.  It could be another of those channels I always get...but never watch.  Kind of like The Golf Channel.

Not me, since the only order I have currently in the mail was shipped thursday (one day before the end of a great sales at VXP) from the USA and the rest are for later in january.

Unless I got the Battle Royale set monday... Everybody get theirs and I'm here waiting when I was the first to order (canadian mail leave a lot to be desired currently, at least one of my package was lost and I begin to think this one was too :shrug:)

I am expecting a package on Monday with a Blu-ray and a DVD. I was hoping to receive it before the year's end, but it wasn't to be.
