I love Bear's Battlestar Galactica score.. And Giacchino's return to the correct 5/4 beat for Mission: Impossible brought a tear to me eye (rectifying U2's travesty of making it 4/4  )

Just realised.... How could I forget Brian Tyler?? His score for SciFi's "Children of Dune" is just too great for words! It is still being used for a lot of other movie's trailers!

Those are great, and I personally know what you mean about some soundtracks and film scores able to bring a tear to your eye. I have heaps like that. And as I said before, The Lion King in particular always gets me, even though it's possibly my most listened to soundtrack. I just think the score is beautiful, and powerful.

This song in particular is just outstanding.




EDIT: Yeah Eddie I love Elfmans stuff. I especially love how crazy his Charlie and the Chocolate Factory soundtrack was. But as far as his work goes I don't think I can go past the Edward Scissorhands score.

I love Danny Elfman's stuff. Among many, many other of his works, his Main Theme for Fable is really powerful.
