I got that Monster Legacy set for my birthday a couple years ago... I loved it... the movies looked fantastic! And just recently Someone else gave me the other legacy sets that are out... Invisible Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon & The Mummy sets! So I got all the legacy collections for free!

I can't pick just one :P

If you are speaking of content, I'd say the "Star Trek Motion Pictures Collection" because of the amount of content

What sucks horribly, though, is they used the same cases as were used when each film was released. Every set of two discs for each movie (20 discs total) is in a double-wide keep case. They could have just as easily put them in the standard keep cases or even newly-designed slim packs just for this set.  As it is, the set is over 9 inches long!  (If I knew that I could do a good job, this is the first and only set that I would search for a large, single case, put all 20 in it, and add custom artwork.)

I think that the "Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology" collection's case is awesome. It matches the cases, is itself very simple, and I love the lid approach.

However, if "Avatar: The Last Airbender" had been made into one giant boxed set where each current box was placed inside, that would be winner hands down not only because of my love for the series (content), but I find the artwork to be nearly breathtaking.

I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!

My favourite might be the Monsters collection too. My Chaplin boxset is impressive. Just solid content and no gimmicks.

Region 3 do some great ones. I have Dances With Wolves in a leather bound pouch and Band Of Brothers Military Edition in a proper kit bag with dog tags!

The Ultimate Matrix Collection
I possibly would have named that one as well (DVD version), but I put off and put off buying it since I already owned the movies. I finally bought it new (from eBay since it was cheaper). It was sent new with original cellophane protection and no obvious damage to the outer cover (so, I don't blame the seller at all). Yet, one of the tabs in the first digipak (containing the first film) was broken off so the disc won't stay in place! >:(

(by the way, your Blu-ray logo path is incorrect and the image doesn't display)

Mine would be the Alien Quadrilogy Box Set on DVD. It's been seven years since I bought it. I plan on getting the new Blu-ray set after Christmas.

Yeah, the Blu set is fantastic! Especially so as it restores the original Alien commentary Ridley Scott did, which wasn't included on the director's cut.

I think my favourite box sets are

The Farrelly Brothers Box Set

Buffy box set

Sex and the City Shoe Box (this is also one of my oldest DVD items - the lid is falling to bits and the colour on it's faded!!)

I probably watch SATC and Buffy once a year
