I fell yesterday, after a two hours session at the dentist...
My foot slipped and I landed... on my temple (don't ask me how...)
The result was.. just a little scratch!

Sorry to hear it Roger! Head injuries can be dangerous...

They sure are... I was hit on the head by a stone throwing at me when I was younger and I've never seen that much blood flowing from myself in my life. I lost conscience after the hit and awoke in the school infirmary full of blood, all the following week I was really weak (but the worst part was that I was unable to clean my hair for 2 weeks and at 16 years old those things are important). Not a pleasant memory and the last time I played the stone war game wich isn't the most brilliant way to pass the time

Here's mine:

I was sitting on a wall with some friends, got pushed off and landed on my head. I went running home whilst the blood poured out of my head wound.

Running of course increases the heart rate and just exacerbated the bleeding. By the time I got home my white shirt and shorts were saturated, literally dripping blood.

I looked like something out of a horror film. My mother and grandmother screamed at the sight of me and they both ran and hid in the closet.

My grandpa grabbed me, stuck me under the sink and took a look. The cut was so small my grandpa started laughing uncontrollably - I didn't even need stitches.

My mom and grandma never lived down the fact that they hid in my time of need.

Haha, head wounds always bleed the most. I see it on football matches all the time. If a player gets hit in the head somehow, even just a small amount the blood pouring out makes it look much more serious than it actually is.

When I was around 6, I'd guess, I was playing on a swing and decide to lean back comfortably. I forgot that the particular swing I was using at the time didn't have a backrest.

I once ran along the edge of an indoor swimming pool. I slipped and fall backwards to the ground, hitting my head. Only time in my life I lost consciousness (without alcohol consumption...).

I sort of remember falling down the stairs where we lived when I was about 5.  It was a whole flight of stairs in hardwood.  I don't remember a lot, but it hurt.

My mom told me that both she and grandma fell down the stairs at grandma's while carrying me when I was a baby.

I fell out of bed when I was little..hit the nightstand some how and had to get stitches in my nose.  I don't remember that.  I think my mom talked about freaking out a bit because of the blood. 

I can also fall up stairs...and I only do it when all kinds of people are around to impress
But seriously...I've done that more than once.  And been laughed at every time.
