What an absolute shock. Everyone just seemed to be discovering that he was one of the finest actors around. An awful waste.

Sad news to see another young actor die, well, young. I heard he had a daughter, who obviously must be a very young child. I feel sorry for her to loose her father so early.

It's really sad. He first caught my attention in The Patriot. I thought he was outstanding in Brokeback Mountain. The scene where he

was so well done.  I saw a piece of that scene in the coverage of his death and really admired his work there.
