I've seen The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert but not Strictly Ballroom. I'm not a fan of Baz Luhrmann.

I like Luhrmann. Moulin Rouge! Is one of my all-time favourites. And I like Rome+Juliet.
Let's just not even mention 'Australia'  :slaphead:

It should have been called 'CGI Australia'

Oh the CGI didn't bother me at all. In fact I actually quite liked that aspect of it. I'm a huge fan of Animal Logic which is the animation/ visual animation company who worked on it. It was other things that bothered me about that film, like all the stereotypes, and the fact that the film seemed to end halfway through and then another one started.
Animal Kingdom... now THAT'S an Australian film.

It has been years since I saw it, but I liked Strictly Ballroom.

Over at Invelos, I use the data side of a DVD (that I think I got off of Wikipedia no less).

I'm trying to decide if I want to outright change it or if i just want to modify the image slightly. My first thought was keeping the CD but placing a circular maze inside, so I'm creating that right now. but I still wish I could come up with somethings better.
I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!

Yet another avatar change! I just can't seem to ever make up my mind. Makes me wonder what the longest I have ever kept one avatar for was  :hmmmm:.

Haha no worries! I thought I best post a large one as well as the small ones can be hard to see at times.

It isn't that evident since the avatar is small, so this is my new one ;D

Not sure I ever visited this thread.

The avatar I chose shows that I'm a girl who is patriotic, believes in just rights and ....

Ok, I'll admit it, yeah, it just means I'm a comic book geek who's a fan of Spider-Girl!!

I just changed my avatar.  The image now (which I wish had showed up just a bit larger) is a caricature I had done of myself at a comics convention a group I was a member of held in the late 70s and early 80s.  The caricature was done by artist John Johns.

How did you upload it, from Imageshack or from your home computer?
