I have just come home from the theatre.

I have been warned abou the "Hollywood ending", but I was positivly surprised.

I can live with that. I felt entertained and that's what matters.

I felt really disappointed by it Dj. Perhaps we built ourselves and our expectations up too much after viewing the trailers, but when the lights came up after such a sudden and unimaginative ending, noone moved in the cinema for several moments as if they thought something had gone wrong with the film.
Special effects amazing.
Storyline had such great potential - not fulfilled.

Ooh, I do like an ambiguous ending! Looking forward to seeing this now. I have not and will not click the button...  ;)

I watched this and loved it.

A bloke at work refuses to watch this purely because, and I quote "It's the Omega Man, with a dog"

Essentialy, it is. But on the other hand it is an entirely different animal, and better for it.

I've heard there was an alternate ending which was refused by the test screeners.

That would've been a Hollywood ending!

The spoilered ending =  :badidea:
That would've been a travesty of an ending.
