Oh shut up. I don't believe it. You're either a fan of movies, or Pearl Harbor. It isn't possible to like both. If you do like both then you have something misfiring in your brain! :tease:

Any film with Affleck in it has got to be good.

I do however reserve judgement on Gigli; as I have yet to watch this.

It's not like I claimed that Uwe Boll and Paul W. S. Anderson were better directors than Steven Speilberg or Hal Needham(which they're not  :P).

Agreed on your comment re: Affleck (he was "da bomb in Phantoms, yo!" apparently, but I haven't seen it ;)). In fact, it's nice to hear someone supporting him. In Pearl Harbor though, I felt sorry for him. I'd hoped his character really had got killed off when the story implied he had, so he wouldn't have to embarrass himself further.  :badidea:

I'll have to get your posts (Jon's and lovemunkey's) to my Mom. She completely despises Ben Affleck. That should spark a nice conversation!

 ;D

You know what I like about Affleck? Enthusiasm. Him and Matt Damon both. But Damon has the knack of picking the right projects, where Affleck isn't so savvy and ends up looking like a tit in rubbish like Daredevil and Pearl Harbor*. He's great in the Kevin Smith movies, Good Will Hunting and Changing Lanes. I'm looking forward to seeing Gone Baby Gone too.

*: Every time I type bloody Pearl bloody Harbor, I have to backspace and delete the bloody "u" I keep putting in "harbour". You know why? That's how it's bloody spelt! You American's like your spelling bees; why don't you learn how to actually bloody spell?

I wasn't very keen on Changing Lanes. There just seemed to be something missing from it.

Got ot hold my hands up and say that I liked Daredevil. Don't get me wrong, there were still alot of issues with it, all of which belong squarely on the shoulders of the writers, producers and other people in charge of the purse strings, NOT the actors, all of whom were in mind brilliantly cast.

Glad it's not just me then. I have the same problem with "color", that's got a U in it too.

Easy. The only movies where she's seen Affleck in are: Pearl Harbour and Daredevil.
