Why buy a bunch of films you probably won't even like, nevermind watch again?
For the fun of taking chances and discover real gem ;D
Do you seriously think I know every films I buy before buying them? Most of the time I buy based on which label release the film, who is in the film, who direct it, the genre of film it is and what the friends who share my taste say about it... Most of the time I don't even watch a trailer or read anything before buying.

The treasure hunting game is just too much fun for me and a 10/20$ ticket to enter in the game isn't that much...
Sure sometimes I got complete crap, but 90% of the time what I got is more than an average films.

It definitely isn't my favorite movie...but I have seen worse.
I have seen worse too, of course, but not many

Oh, for sure! I have always ben saying the same, actually. (When we follow eah other's recommendations here is pretty much like that!) But this is bay's Transformers 2 we are talking about  Heck, the main actor said it was shit and I think even Bay mentioned that he may have gone too far...

I was thinking in general
I sure won't take a chance on a film like that... just CGI overload is enough for me to know there is 99.999999....9% chances I won't pass a good 3 minutes watching this.

Even a 4 disc special 3D edition of The Curse of Lizzy Borden sound better than that to my eyes

You're talking about blind buys which I love doing, but it has to be balanced by price. With LoveFilm I can try them out and buy them again when the price drops.

The main reason for the low price seems to be the extremely poor quality of the BluRay.
It seems that the BluRay is of no better quality than the DVD.

But for this price you surely can't go wrong.
