The article points out that it's an indirect way for MTV to get back into showing videos :stars: I remember always thinking that the show had too many videos and not enough of the two guys... I own the movie and IIRC it worked quite well in that format too.

Has today's youth changed so much that this show is anachronoistic? I almost feel it was anachronistic when it came out the first time :hmmmm:

"Anachronistic". Does that mean "Total annoying crap that was bad enough the first time around"?  :P

Well, Beavis & Butt-Head were rather "hardcore" and many people hated it; apparently one of them posted just above me. I remember the first episodes being funny and that got eventually drained out of them

When Beavis and Butthead was first on I remember not liking it... but then I saw the boxset cheap and thought why not... I enjoyed it so much I wanted more... there are episodes that were never released on DVD and I want to see them!

I thought about it again and im kinda excited about this series :)

I never got into Beavis and Butthead either. Which is starge considering I'm a cartoon nerd, I will almost watch all and any cartoon series but I just never took to Beavis and Butthead. If I wanted to watch a stupid cartoon I would prefer something like South Park.

My thoughts exactly. I liked the Daria spin-off, though.

FWIW, I would not buy a DVD set of Beavis and Butt-Head (maybe a single-disc "Best" Of... :hmmmm:). However, I agree, South Park is so much better, even after 13 seasons. I would not call SP stupid though, that is only on the surface.

Yeah actually, I take that back. Obviously a lot of South Park is silly, in many ways. But I can't really talk, I once watched the first 12 season of South Park in 2 weeks (yeah... I was busy  :P). Any show that I can watch that much of in a row has my respect to a certain degree.

I love South Park but I think its getting stale now, I know there is at least 14 series planned and I don't think it should go beyond that... in the last few series there have been episodes I couldn't watch because they bored me so much and episodes I loved.

I don't know many people at all who like Beavis and Butthead.... I don't think alot of those people get the show.

I'll hold my hands up and say that I was a fan of B&B. B&B Do America I think is one of the top 10 comedies that I've seen at the cinema.
I started to go off the series when their commentary on different videos became less a part of the show.

King Of The Hill, I couldn't get on with and the Simpsons is a show that I have always considered a little overrated.

Family Guy beats 'em all.   ;D

Have you seen the episode where Stewie has an accident? It's just...  :o

Family Guy is ok, but not one of my favorites.  I'll watch it.

I still like The Simpsons.  I liked Family Guy overall.
Futurama is still my favorite.  And I've been liking the new shows too.  3 or 4 have aired now I think.
