Park & Zoo
« on: July 06, 2010, 10:46:30 AM »
Brittany and I have some quality time planned for today. We will be gone for a good portion of the day today. We have a planned outing to go have a (possibly early) Picnic Lunch at the park and walk the local zoo. We will both be bringing our cameras... so I am sure we will have some pictures to share when we get home.

I love when we get to have days like this together!

Enjoy it. It's a long time ago when I was at the zoo with my family (we have a nice one here in Hamburg, called Hagenbeck).

I would request a pic from a big cat!  ;D

On Friday I will go to the zoo. My company's summer party is there in the evening after the regular visitors have left. After a nice buffet, we get a nice tour at night. You get to see stuff you normally wouldn't. This is the third time that my company does this for the summer party.
I will leave the company after lunch with a few colleagues and we make our day-time tour ourselves before joining the party in the evening.

Well... we just got back. And let me tell you... it is hot outside. Too hot! up over 100 degrees Fahrenheit! That made it pretty bad walking the zoo and park... but over all it was worth it. We both had a good time. I took several pictures but not sure how well they came out yet. I will be uploading the pictures to my computer here soon. And will post the pictures in this thread. Of course the damn bear wouldn't give me a clear shot of him... every time I went to snap a shot he turned his head and faced the wall!  :redcard:

They do take up a lot of space...

Did you take a picture of a (specially trained, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?) llama instead?
