Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Season 1

No one is ever safe, least of al Sarah Connor and her son, John. Tired of running from the machines, Sarah decides to stand and fight.

Charlayne Woodard as Terissa Dyson
Dean Winters as Charley Dixon

My Thoughts:
This is a great start to the series. Yes, it is a lot like the first 2 movies. But I think this is a good thing... for anyone that might have never seen the movies (if that is possible). They really went all out for the pilot episode. Lots of great effects and a really enjoyable storyline.

I really like the entire cast in this show. I especially like Summer Giau as Cameron. But all the main characters are great. I have become a fan of Lena Headey because of this series. Since this show I have added a a small handful of her movies into my collection.

My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this episode as well. I got a kick out of John and Cameron going to school... only to find that at the entrance there is a metal detector and they have to explain how Cameron keeps setting off the metal detector. This one has another really interesting storyline that was well done. It moves the main storyline ahead nicely.

One of the worst opening credits I have seen, but one of my favourite shows of the last few years.

I love the way you are doing the new screencaps Pete.

I love the way you are doing the new screencaps Pete.

Thanks... I am glad to see someone mention they like it. It is actually quite a bit of work to do it that way. First I take between 20 and 50 Screen Caps per episode. Then it is the hard job of choosing which 7 of the Screen Caps to actually use. Then shrinking them down to a usable size for the board.

Yeah me too! Even though the last 2 screencaps are a bit unsettling! Made my Dad look and ask what that was hahaha

 Yeah... I was a bit nervous using those Screen Caps... but come on... how could I resist? Just wait till I can watch horror again!

My Thoughts:
This one I liked quite a bit. It has some good action as well as some fun dialog. I especially liked when Sarah said they were going on a field trip... and  John says "I call shotgun" and Cameron comes out with "I call 9mm." I don't know why... but that just caught me as so funny! Best line in the episode... if not in all of season 1. And then before that the line where Cameron says she didn't comment on killing Andy sooner was because she was "busy doing John's homework." So there was some decent action as well as a few good chuckles. What more can you ask? The final scene with Derek Reese was very good as well.

My Thoughts:
Maybe not the best of season finales.... but I did enjoy it. Of course I don't believe this was originally meant to be a season finale. I believe this season was during the writer's strike and we ended up with a very short season. But it is a good episode all the same. I really liked the cliffhanger at the end.
