Yeah... I was really shocked to see how fast he bounced back from this one.

I don't get to see this brother as much as I would like... but I may be seeing him this weekend. If I do... I will be sure to get some pictures.

Pete, I am also glad your brother is up and about (is that how you say it...?).

However, I think Kathy wants pictures from when it was still fresh and everyone else hopes you will use spoiler tags for them.

Well... you don't have to worry there... as I just don't have pictures from when it was fresh. :P

Darn! Of course his injury couldn't match up to some of the things I've seen. The before and after pictures are what I find the most amazing. It boggles the mind the ability of the body to heal.

Sorry Kathy... where he was all the way in Baltimore I couldn't see him in the hospital. He was over once where he got out... and of course stupid me forgot to grab my camera. The next time I saw him the stitches were out. Now he might be over this weekend. I can try to get some after pictures if you like.

My brother showed up here today. I went ahead and took a few pics of how his arm looks today. What with him working in drywall... I think he may have went to work a little too early... it looks like it is getting infected a bit.

I'm not an expert but I think the arm should be put in cast. Maybe you can check a possible combustion if you check the heat with your hand. A quark and cabbage bandage every 20 min. could help!

But: I would strongly recommend to visit a doctor.

Please forgive me if I couldn't find the correct medical translation - I did my very best!

A cast? I'm curious of why you think so.

It looks like it's healing pretty good - I don't see redness or drainage. The raised lumpy area on the wrist looks like it came from an IV site.

Now THAT'S a scar!

And yes...I would have been interested in seeing it fresh. Hey...what can I say...I'm a nurse and we like this stuff! ;D

Sure, Kathy - you are a professional! ;D All I wanted to say is: if you are in doubt, visit a doctor! Remote diagnosis is not always reliable!  ;)

I really am curious. I like to know how people think. Tell me please.

As far as an expert - bah - not when I'm just seeing a picture. Your guess is as good as mine. I would need to see it in person, access pulses and capillary refill, check temps etc. etc.

I didn't know that Thorsten - how great! I love that there's another medical person here. You must like the pictures too - professionally speaking of course.
