I have my DVD collection listed under my signature. But, it has changed a lot and I would like to update it. The problem is I have no idea how to do that (senior moment time again!).

I also wonder, I have been sorting my collection into various lists. Will these lists show up or will it only be "owned", "ordered" and "wish list"?

Since your collection is hosted on the Invelos server you just have to upload your collection with DVDP no... Or did I miss something completly?

Shows up as having 5528 entries with Spartacus: Blood and Sand as the newest entry.

On dvdcollectorsonline.com, is a link that says "Kathy's collection". The number of DVDs listed here differs from the number of DVDs I have listed on the invelos site. What I would like to do is to make them both the same. How do I do that?

Maybe it's in the setting? Check if the option for the adult titles are like that

I have 5195 owed on invelos, I have 5469 owed here. I don't have anything blocked so that is not the problem.

Maybe it's the child profiles for your TV series who aren't count on your user page at invelos?

There's no actual difference between "here" and "there". The link in your signature leads directly to your Invelos listing: http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/kathy

The last numer I see is 5528. But that doesn't mean that's the actual number of profiles you have. You could have profiles with duplicate numbers or profiles without a number...

Now what really made me feel curious about this:

Kathy said she saw different amounts (5195 vs. 5469). Then we established that the link "here" simply pointed to "there", that "here" and "there" are one and the same.

Where did the difference come from?

Oh thank goodness, I thought it was just me! I had thrown my hands in the air and given up thinking it was "computer logic" that I didn't understand.

Just a quick check:

I use the link from Kathy's signature.

When I sort ascending by Coll# ascending I see 5 profiles without a number:
Bad Taste/Brain Dead   
Golden Age Double Pack #6: A Taste of Money/Raw Talent   
Golden Age Double Pack #7: Anna Obsessed/Up'n Coming   
Golden Age Double Pack #8: Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann/Sensations   
Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom

On the other end of the scale I find
Spartacus: Blood and Sand: The Complete First Season   5528

When select the left frame, press CTRL-A, CTRL-C and paste that whole stuff into Excel, I get 5 head rows and data rows from row 6 to 5257 which means I effectively see 5252 profiles with numbers ranging from "none", then starting with 1 and ending with 5528.

So I either don't see 276 profiles for some reason (adult setting) or the numbers are vacant.


I still don't get the number Kathy is mentioning ("I have 5195 owed on invelos, I have 5469 owed here"). Kathy, could you tell me where exactly do you see these numbers?

Is it possible that you did not upload your latest collection? DVD Profiler indicates "Owned: 5,195":



 If your local collection has a higher counter it could be this.

PS: Then there's 1 profile in the ordered tab and 1885 in the wishlist tab, effectively making it 7138 profiles visible online.

The numbers I mentioned:

When I open up my local database (which I upload to invelos yesterday) now has, under Owned 5,195.

When I open the tab under my signature here, under Owned 5.469.

Edit: I should mention that I have been slowly moving some of my owned DVDs to those new customs tabs.
