Wow! the first season went by pretty quick for me! Now on to season 2! :P Though I will probably only watch another episode or two. I would like to fit in some more Ghost Whisperer as well. :)

The Incredible Hulk: Season 2

1. MARRIED (AKA: The Bride of the Incredible Hulk)
Airdate: Sep. 22, 1978
In this gripping two-hour season premiere, David travels to Hawaii, where he meets a beautiful psychiatrist who agrees to take him on as a hypnosis patient—and then as a husband after they fall in love.

Guest Stars:
Mariette Hartley
Brian Cutler
Diane Markoff
Duncan Gamble
Meeno Peluce

My Thoughts:
This is a very popular episode among most fans of the series. And I agree it is an excellent episode. I liked that for the first time he let someone in on who he really is. That in of itself made for an interesting episode. I also enjoyed all the work they did where David went into a hypnotic state and try to trap The Hulk... giving us scenes where both David and The Hulk are both shown at the same time.  I have to admit I got a bit of a chuckle when The Hulk lifted a guy up by his chest hair. And I had cracked up during the same fight scene how The Hulk grabbed a guy by the hair on his head... only to pull off his hair piece. The way The Hulk looked at the hair in his hand... dumbfounded... I laughed so hard tears came to my eyes.

The odd thing about this episode... for some reason I didn't remember it being such an enjoyable episode so I was not exactly looking forward to it while watching the first season. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to see it again.

Both David and the Hulk go the distance for a mentally challenged young man who is goaded into driving a defective car in a demolition derby.

Guest Stars:
Robin Mattson
Gerald McRaney

My Thoughts:
This is a good one as well... it is another one that has Gerald McRaney (Major Dad) in it. Another familiar face in this one is is Mickey Jones who some of you may remember as Pete the big dude with the long beard that appeared several times on Home Improvement. In this one he plays Rick, the mentally challenged young man. I must admit while looking the same.. he did look weird clean shaven.

 Yes... especially so in that episode. But what can I say I still love the series. This show was my first introduction to The Hulk... so I imagine that helps.

The Incredible Hulk: Season 2

7. ALICE IN DISCO LAND
Airdate: Nov. 3, 1978
David takes a job in a disco, where he meets a troubled dancer and soon realizes that she is a remmant of his past.

Guest Stars:
Donna Wilkes
Jason Kincaid
Julie Hill
Marc Alaimo
Betty Anne Rees

My Thoughts:
Just from the title of the episode I am sure you are not surprised this is NOT a favorite episode of mine. The scenes outside the disco wasn't too bad but wasn't enough to really keep my interest. One scene during the dance contest they had them dancing to the theme music of The Hulk... I guess that is one way to keep music costs down!  :P

The Incredible Hulk: Season 2

8. KILLER INSTINCT
Airdate: Nov. 10, 1978
It's not all fun and games for David when he becomes an assistant football trainer, because the team's physician is studying aggressive behavior.

Guest Stars:
Denny Miller
Rudy Solari
Barbara Leigh
Pepper Martin
Paul Coufos

My Thoughts:
Definitely better then the last one. Though it is still more of a standard episode. Nothing really extraordinary about it. A bit of action... mostly on the football field. And no laughs at all... not even a chuckle this time. But entertaining for what it was.

9. STOP THE PRESSES
Airdate: Nov. 24, 1978
The ABCs of tabloid reporting spell trouble when a newspaper story on the Hulk includes a photograph that could expose David.

Guest Stars:
Julie Cobb
Mary Frann
Pat Morita
Art Metrano
Sam Chew, Jr.

My Thoughts:
What do you know... we have Mr. Miyagi in this episode!  :P I enjoyed this one more then the last few. It has a few chuckles in it. I found the characters to be likable... and the story to be entertaining.

Well I decided to start up my Incredible Hulk Marathon again today.

There was something I meant to mention and forgot earlier in the marathon. It was either in the season 1 or beginning of season 2 extras. The guy that brought this series to television was saying how he wanted to distance himself from the comics. As he definitely did... I think we can all agree on that. One change he wanted to make. That I am so glad they would not let him do... because it would just not be The Hulk his way. At least not in my eyes. He actually didn't want to make The Hulk green. Instead he wanted to make him red. His thinking (which I can understand) is that the color of anger is red. But I am so glad they wouldn't let him do a red Hulk!
