Antares, that must be a rough allergy to have with a sweet tooth... atleast if you were allergic to something you hated it would be easier :p
I'll have to dig out the recipe for my Reese's land mine brownies. I think you'd really like them.
Reese's Land Mine Brownies• 1 package (19.8 oz.) fudge brownie mix • water • vegetable oil • 2 eggs• 24 mini-Reeses cups• ½ cup + 3 tablespoons REESE'S Peanut Butter Chips • 1 teaspoon shortening1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.2. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package for fudge-like brownies (2 eggs). Spread half of brownie batter into prepared pan.3. Carefully lay out 24 mini-Reeses cups upside down (wider edge on bottom) in an even lattice pattern.*4. Fold ½ cup peanut butter chips into remaining batter and gently spoon over each Reeses cup. 5. Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean. Remove from oven to wire rack; Let stand until cool.6. Using a small spoon, top with drizzle, using a quick back and forth motion as the drizzle leaves the spoon. PEANUT BUTTER DRIZZLE:Place 3 tablespoons REESE'S Peanut Butter Chips and 1 teaspoon shortening in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 30 seconds; stir. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 10 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. *NOTE: It is very important that your Reeses cups be laid out evenly, with proper spacing, so when you cut the brownies, you cut between each cup. You have to remember how you laid them out, so that you can cut between them.
Why did you have to go and post that. Here I am trying to eat better and you do that...sabotage. :pBut really, it does sound good. I may have to try that sometime.
