Now that I'm here at the computer, Antares has deserted us. ???

Sorry guys, but I decided after the amount of time I spent at the game last night, to actually watch one of those little shiny discs I have.

What a nerve!   :voodoo:

Shirking your responsibilities to the community to watch a DVD!   :o

Shame on you!   ;)

I realized after the last question last night, that I had posted over 100 times. I felt it was time for a break.

A "break"? We haven't left the screen! And you take a "break"? We're like bleary eyed addicts who need another hit. You're our dealer; you have responsibilities!

In the genre Science Fiction...

In The War of the Worlds (1953), what finally kills off the invading aliens?

Good, good... my device is working! Guys, Hal should only be able to see the questions 2 minutes after they were posted. Use the margin wisely!  Mu-hahahahaaaa!

But seriously, no, it's fine for me!  :-[

Mine is running like a hare, racing a turtle. Only my hare doesn't take a little nap.

Basically... it's fast as usual.

I'd give it to Sophie.  In the 1953 version they talk about "germs that are harmless" to humans, but there is no mention specifically of a "cold".
