And he likes Invasion of the Bee Girls twice as much?  Pete may just be about to get his movie-reviewing license suspended!  :redcard:

 Now Roger... you know it is all a matter of taste!

Now you are in my territory Pete
I haven't seen a good copy of this film yet, but I continue to search. The version I own is the one released by Brentwood under the title Graveyard Tramps in 2004. Alternative Cinema will release it in 2 weeks (in a set with 2069: A Space Odyssey and Dr. Dildo’s Secret). I will contact Michael next week to ask him if they used a VHS print or a theatrical print for the transfert. The film had many well known names in the genre of film I like : William Smith (Run, Angel, Run!, Angels Die Hard, The Losers,...), Anitra Ford (Messiah of Evil), Herb Robins (The Worm Eaters, The Thrill Killers, Body Fever, ...), Rene Bond (High School Fantasies, Country Hooker, Do You Wanna Be Loved? and many others) and Sharon Kelly (Supervixens, Delinquent School Girls and many hardcore films under the alias Colleen Brennan). Glad to see you have appreciated this one ;D

BTW maybe this set of vampires film could be interesting for you

I had a feeling you may have known that one Jimmy!

I just put that vampire set into my wishlist at amazon so I remember it. :)

My Thoughts:
Well it seems this is another movie that I disagree with most reviewers on. When I decided to watch this movie I checked other reviews to see what others were saying about this movie. And I was surprised to see most people saying to skip this one. I personally enjoyed this one quite a bit. Loved Eliza Dushku in it... and found to be a very interesting movie. Well worth the hour and a half I put into watching it. I also liked that this is based of a real serial killer. I would definitely recommend this one... though with caution after reading so many bad reviews. So I would recommend with that notation.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Pete you must find time to watch Manos: The Hand of Fate or War of the Robots before the end of your marathon. I dare you to watch at least one of them :tease:

Title: The X-Files: I Want To Believe

[...]
My Thoughts:
I have seen in other reviews that this movie is not that much liked compared to the series and first movie. I personally enjoyed it. No... this one doesn't have anything to do with the mythology of the X-Files...
See, you found the main criticism of others right in that beginning of the first paragraph :P

Why make an X-Files film if you are not making an X-Files film...? I'll come out and say I liked the story for the most part and it was exciting in all the right places. But X-Files it was not. Take two other actors, remove X-Files from the titles and you might have something. So, the problem really only is, that by having X-Files in the title they are making a promise that they don't fulfill by a long stretch and therefore create loads of disappointment.

Depends on how you look at it. I personally liked the stand alone episodes more then the mythology episodes. To me this was very much an X-Files movie. Just because it did it more like a stand alone then anything to do with the mythology don't make it any less so in my opinion. I personally would like to see more movies like this one. And I would be less likely to enjoy any future one that dealt with the mythology.
