I was in The Dollar Tree today (for those that don't know The Dollar Tree is a store where everything there is only $1.00) While there I picked up...

Mr. & Mrs. North

But stupid me... when I picked it up I thought it was a classic movie... didn't notice till I got home it was a classic TV Series. In my defense... the case don't say Vol. 1 or anything like that.

Complete Blind Buy... anyone here know this series?

While out... I got this in the mail...

Smallville: Season 8

Secondspin 20% off sale

That's a nice one, mine has always been in my living room with my favorite sets and collectors items.

I already had the original release from way back when, I only bought this for the 1925 version.

I got the first two seasons of The Office last week.  I've been doing better about not getting other stuff for the time being since it is close to Christmas.

I've been doing this too, I always close down buying anything for myself leading up to Christmas.

Dammit, it really holds its price! It is an excellent set and worth every penny, but I'm a stingy git and I've been spoilt in the past, like getting the entire Chaplin collection for £25. ;)

Have you seen this one before, Eric? Be warned it's long and not a huge amount happens, as such. I know you liked Jesse James, so you don't mind a steady approach, but still, better to be forewarned. I look forward to your comments. I reviewed it for the Oscar marathon here.

Come to think of it, you might like The New World too. Just don't listen to Rick or Rick!

:o you got Chaplin for £25? I was going to get that a while back but refused to pay £40 for it.
