Argh. I meant "The Hunter". I'd planned to watch The Hustler before remembering that I wanted to concentrate on never seen where possible. So, Steve McQueen's The Hunter, not Paul Newman's The Hustler...  :bag:

Hmm. I was one of the few who really liked "Domino", but I suppose this is quite different. Also, I've done my quota of '70s movies for this year.  :P

Received from Columbia House Canada today.

Ordered on October 1st  :redcard:
They were sure faster than that when I was a member of their music club. Just forgot to send them the card in the first week and you were sure to received their crappy selection of the month in the next week

I'll admit that I'm starting to feel that the saving isn't worth the trouble.

Not to be picky, but it was the 80s! :tease: I can see a tenuous link with Domino, but yes it is quite different... :D

Received this morning from Diabolik DVD

Newest Tony Marsiglia's movie that I've miss when it was released in february. The set includes also his first movie ;D
I've some real big expectations for this one since Marsiglia is one of the best independant director actually and his film get better and better each time.

Honestly I think it could be the best movie released this year

I decided to get this version because the price at Amazon was about the same as the DVD.

D13 (£19.25 at Amazon.co.uk)
I saw the second movie at the FantasyFilmFest and I liked it. This Blu-ray release includes both movies.
Battle for Terra ($20.47 at DVD Pacific)
I saw this movie at last year's FantasyFilmFest and I have been waiting to get it on Blu-ray ever since. Luckily the US release is region-free.
Kujibiki Unbalance: The Collection ($18.77 at DVD Pacific)
Did you ever buy a TV series, because of the bonus material? One of my favorite manga/anime series "Genshiken" has a fictional series in the series. The first season set of Genshiken had three bonus episodes which are episodes of said fictional series. This DVD release now is a remake of this fictional series and is released as a real TV series. But it is not the reason I bought it. The reason are the three bonus episodes of Genshiken included in this set. They are OVAs which bridge the first and the second season of Genshiken. It also introduces my favorite Genshiken character: Ogiue.

Today I ordered some stuff for Brittany for Christmas. And while I was at it... I was bad again... and ordered myself some DVDs. It is so hard trying not to by them! Anyway... the one is because I been wanting to see it so bad... and the other 2 were extremely cheap (like $3 each).

at least I did limit myself to the single disc version!
