What version did y'all watch of BE. The one with the one end or the one with the other end?

(click to show/hide)

Driving Miss Daisy (£5.15 at Amazon.co.uk)
I think I saw this one (at least partially) years ago. After watching Shawshank Redemption recently again, I had the urge to revisit this movie.
Life On Mars: Series One (£14.47 at Amazon.co.uk)
I know who to blame if I don't enjoy this one  :tease:

The one that wasn't decided by a screening group, so the director ending. Even if my copy had the 2 versions, I've never watch the theatrical cut.

After I have most likely abandoned Smallville I stumbled across this one, starring Jensen Ackles (Jason Teague in Smallville's 4th season):

And it was cheap, too. Less than 10 pounds.

Of course being the horror fanatic that I am... I love this series! I have all 3 released seasons in my collection... and can't wait for season 4 (which just completed airing) to come out!

Life On Mars: Series One
If you watch it soon I can easily decide whether to add it to my upcoming amazon.co.uk order or not ;)

What kind of "horror" is it? More Buffy/Angel-"horror" or actual horror?

Life On Mars: Series One[/url][/b] (£14.47 at Amazon.co.uk)
:headscratch:

What happened here? I just went to amzon.co.uk and saw Series One for £8.68.

What's even more confusing: Series One: £8.68; Series 2: £9.38; Series 1 & 2: £26.98 :stars:

The DVD boxset is under a tenner, but Tom went for Blu-Ray.

Another  for Supernatural from me too.

You should like it as you're BTVS/Angel fan, you like Charmed as well don't you?
Although you'll end up plying the "Where've I Seen Them Before?" game, I know I did.

Sorry to be the voice of dissent. The pilot was ok in a kinda dumb but mildly entertaining way. I gave up after the 2nd episode. It's was a bit more real horror than Buffy-horror, though.

I personally consider it a more serious horror then Buffy or Angel. But at the same time I find it hard to explain. At least this early as I just did wake up and my brain not working yet... so can't put my thoughts into words  :P

R1-US Screen Media (Mar 24, 2009)

With Kristen Stewart, unfortunately now mostly famous for starring in Twilight.
