QUICK QUESTION TO EVERYONE:

You should've started a poll/new thread, then we could've debated it. And you missed an option: Haven't seen it yet. ;)

Hey, don't take it like that. I meant it tongue in cheek! It's just that we use this thread to advertise our new purchases.  ;D (Which I'm about to do, as soon as I get DVD Profiler reinstalled at work)

Today I bought 5 titles in a "4 for 3" sale.

 (The Heartbreak Kid)

 (The Kingdom)

Paid 3 * 7.99€ + 7.99€ = 31.96€ for them.

Deuxième vie (€2.97 at Amazon.de)
A French time-travel movie. Total blind buy. Found it when browsing Amazon.de's bargains.

You can use these (if they're the right ones anyway):

School for Scoundrels
<don't have>

Mortal Kombat

No Country for Old Men

The Devil's Rejects

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

Finally receive it this morning  ;D

From Amazon

I know that I was suppose to receive "Lord of the Flies" too, but I've cancel it. It was not currently available and I will have to wait another 3 weeks for receiving my order, since I want to watch Salò before the october marathon the decision was evident. I will reorder it later, maybe even the complete edition.

P.S : My profile is complete contrary to the one in the database, so if you need it I can post it here.
P.P.S : Criterion had really done a great job with it... The packaging is top quality

Never actually seen this, is it actually any good or is it another of those films that gets by on it's notoriety?  I started reading the book, but it was .

Any chance of instructions (recap) on how to use the 'Add image & link from UPC' feature?
I'd like to contribute to this thread but cannot get the images to show??

Thanks
Rich

Everything that follows with square brackets instead of round ones:

You use this button:

Then this code appears:

(whatyagot=)(/whatyagot)

After the equals sign you enter your domain slash path to phpDVDProfiler. Between the whatyagot tags you enter either the UPC (with location extension) or the DiscId (with location extension). You get this info by openening a phpDVDProfiler profile in a new window and copy&paste it from the address bar:

http://richesdvds.co.uk/phpdvdprofiler/index.php?mediaid=5050582556742.4&action=show

(whatyagot=richesdvds.co.uk/phpdvdprofiler)5050582556742.4(/whatyagot)

Et voilà:

... or not.

Ah, I got it. The problem is that the whatyagot tag looks for the image in the given path + "/images/thumbnails". But your images are under "Images/thumbnails".

http://www.richesdvds.co.uk/phpdvdprofiler/Images/thumbnails/5050582556742.4f.jpg

For Unix-based OSses these are two different directories because i != I.

A solution would be to rename the "Images" dir to "images" and change it in the localsiteconfig.php, too.

But I don't know where else you link to your images (a Blog for example).

Visually since you certainly use DVDP.

First thing you need is a plugin created by Tom : Trading Poster TG
To have it just go on his webpage

After you have installed the plugin you have to enter the link to your collection (tools/view plugin)

and finally when you want to make a "What'ya got" post you flag the dvd on profiler and you use the WYG icon on DVDP.

You paste the result in your post and it will looking like this (with this "[" at the beginning)
whatyagot=aesppres.com/phpdvdprofiler]715515031028[/whatyagot]

in your post that will become the cover of the dvd that you have bought

Hope it's help
