[tom]5051890142146.5f.jpg[/tom] Cloud Atlas (€12.90/$16.91/£10.87/Media Markt)

I hardly ever buy anything at local stores anymore. But I really wanted to take the chance to show "Wreck-It Ralph" tomorrow to some friends. I was even willing to pay more than I usually do. But they asked €19.99 for it  :baffled:

That's only € 2 more than at Amazon's, so I guess I would have bought it anyhow.
If you are really lucky MediaMarkt will adopt the Amazon price (you have to ask), having the Amazon-App on a smartphone can be very helpful for this.

Have Gun Will Travel
reads the card of a man
A Knight without armour
  in a savage land.

Richard Boone was great in this.  Just like he was in "Hombre" and so many others.
Thank you

Here's what I've gotten in the last month or so.

Killing Them Softly
Brad Pitt delivers an explosive performance as Jackie Cogan, an enforcer for the Mob in Andrew Dominik's gritty yet stylish crime thriller KILLING THEM SOFTLY.  Cogan must restore order in the crimincal economy after a Mob protected card game is hestied by a group of inexperienced crooks.  Brad Pitt stars along with Richard Jenkins, James Gandolphini, Ray Liotta, Scott McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Vincent Curatola, Max Casella, Trevor Long, Slaine and Sam Shepard.

Laura
This gripping and lushly photographed film noir, one of the most acclaimed mystery thrillers of all time, is a must-own classic on Blu-ray™. Jealousy, passion and blackmail surround the murder investigation of the stunning Laura (Gene Tierney), leading to one of the most surprising twists the screen has ever seen.

Jack Reacher
Ex-military investigator Jack Reacher (TOM CRUISE) leaps off the pages of Lee Child's bestselling novel and onto the big screen in the explosive thriller the critics are calling "TRUT, MUSCULAR, GRUFF AND COOL."* When an unspeakable crime is committed, all evidence points to the suspect in custody who offers up a single note in defense: "GET JACK REACHER!" The law has its limits, but Reacher does not when his fight for the truth pits him against an unexpected enemy with a skill for violence and a secret to keep.

*Peter Suderman, THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Bad Teacher
Elizabeth Halsey (Cameron Diaz) is a foulmouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate teacher. She drinks, gets high, and can't wait to marry a meal ticket to get out of her bogus day job. When she's dumped by her fiance, she sets her sights on a rich, handsome substitute (Justin Timberlake) while shrugging off the advances of the school gym teacher (Jason Segel). The consequences of her wild and outrageous schemes give her students, coworkers, and even herself an education like no other!

30 Minutes or Less
Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) is a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wanna-be criminal masterminds (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). The volatile duo kidnaps Nick and forces him to rob a bank. With mere hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari). As the clock ticks, the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship.

The Carol Burnett Show: Carol's Favorites
While there's no truth to the rumor that "CBS" ever stood for The Carol Burnett Show, for eleven seasons and 278 episodes, this star-studded extravaganza of sketch comedy, song and dance became entertainment central for the network and TV viewers. Taped before a live audience at Hollywood's CBS Television City Studio 33, The Carol Burnett Show featured clever, dazzling production numbers in an intimate environment, thanks to strategic camera placement that brought the actors and audience closer together. Burnett operated in a relaxed theater setting that allowed her to take questions, cut loose with her famous Tarzan yell, and join second bananas Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner to have a laugh or sing a song.

The Carol Burnett Show: This Time Together
Warm and welcoming, tremendously talented, and, of course, fantastically funny—Carol Burnett is all this and more. And her unique gifts were never more perfectly showcased than on The Carol Burnett Show—a program that still stands as the gold standard of television variety shows. The show's guest stars make up a Who's Who of music and comedy, from Sammy Davis Jr. to Lily Tomlin, and from Steve Lawrence to Madeline Kahn. It all came together around the amazing Carol, who never failed to delight, to entertain, and to let us know that she was glad we'd had this time together...

Inhumans
The Inhumans have always been one of Marvel's most enduring oddities. A race of genetic outsiders, they live secluded in their island kingdom of Attilan, preferring not to mix with the outside world. Even stranger, their genetic mutations are self-endowed; each Inhuman, as a coming-of-age ritual, endures exposure to the Terrigen Mists, a strange substance that imparts unearthly powers, some extraordinary, some monstrous. But now the kingdom of Attilan is under attack from without and within. Can the Royal Family, led by Black Bolt, repel the foreign invaders who blast at their outer defense, as well as the internal threat of Black Bolt's insane brother, Maximus the Mad?

This popular series takes a classic Marvel cast of characters, and infuses it with a modern sensibility that includes international politics and an awareness of class systems. Dark and grimly compelling, the Inhumans is one story that won’t be forgotten any time soon.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
Spencer Tracy heads a hilariously zany cast that stars Holllywood's greatest comedians (Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Dick Shawn, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas and Jonathan Winters) and features cameo appearances by every joker and jester in the business, from Don Knotts and Jerry Lewis to The Three Stooges. Nominated* for six Oscars, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is "an explosive motion picture experience" (Variety). On a winding desert highway, eight vacation-bound motorists share an experience that alters their plans — and their lives! After a mysterious stranger divulges the location of a stolen fortune, they each speed off in a mind-bending, car-bashing race for the loot — and the most sidesplitting laughfest in history.

Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire
Music, mystery and a legendary Australian vampire are all part of the mix as Scooby-Doo goes Down Under for a hair-raising adventure in this mayhem-filled movie!

On vacation in Australia, Scooby-Doo and the Mystery, Inc. gang attend a music festival held at Vampire Rock. But the music goes flat when they learn that a fabled creature called the Yowie Yahoo is kidnapping the musical acts and turning them into vampires.

Masquerading as a heavy metal band, Scooby-Doo and pals must survive a trio of rock-'n'-roll bloodsuckers if they want to crack the mystery surrounding The Legend of the Vampire!
