A while back ago a friend told me about how he gets some great DVDs on sale at the library. A few days ago I asked our librarian about it to see if they ever have these sales. Turns out no... it is too small of a library. But she said... they do every once in a while put old DVDs on a certain shelf... a freebie shelf. Where we can get some free books, magazines and such to keep. But she said the DVDs are few and far between.

Well... today was my day. They had 2 DVDs up on the shelf and I grabbed them quick.... and it was even a TV Show!  :yahoo:

I never seen it before... but I like the actress in it. Melissa Joan Hart in Clarissa Explains It All...

Clarissa Explains It All: Season 1 - Disc 1
| Year: 1991 | 174 Min.

1. Clarissa's Revenge
Ferguson brings Clarissa's training bra to school. Now Clarissa plots the ultimate revenge: get rid of him using a straitjacket, a bundle of helium balloons and Sam's help.

2. School Picture
Clarissa loathes picture day at school since her mother makes her wear something "dweebie." This year she's determined to express her individuality.

3. No T.V.
Janet makes a "no TV for a week" rule. So the rest of the family stoops to desperate measures to get a glimpse of their favorite shows.

4. Urge to Drive
To earn enough money to buy a used car, Clarissa takes to selling Christmas cards ... in July!

5. Clarissa News Network
Clarissa wants to be the next Jane Pauley and now she's got her biggest news scoop: her mother is having a life crisis!

6. Haunted House
Annoying Aunt Mafalda is visiting. Clarissa pretends the house is haunted, hoping her aunt will leave early. But Clarissa had no idea Aunt Mafalda was a fan of the supernatural.

7. The Bully
Something's wrong with Ferguson. He's being nice. And this has Clarissa very concerned!

Clarissa Explains It All: Season 1 - Disc 2
| Year: 1991 | 154 Min.

8. New Addition
When their parents mention a new addition, the kids think the worst. So Clarissa and Ferguson hatch a plot to convince their parents that a new baby would be a very bad idea.

9. Brain Drain
Ferguson scores high on an IQ test, and convinces himself that he's a genius. Now he's out to conquer the game show world!

10. Clarissa Makes a Cake
She's never tried anything like it before, but Clarissa is going to bake a cake for her parents' anniversary with the help of the equally clueless Sam. Watch out!

11. Parents Who Say No
Clarissa wants to get a job at the local carnival, but her parents don't think she's mature enough. When they finally give in, Clarissa wishes they hadn't.

12. Cool Dad
Clarissa tells her dad he's not cool enough to speak at her school's career night. So he goes to desperate measures to learn how to be "hip."

13. Sick Days
Not wanting to be in the boring school pageant, Clarissa fakes being sick. But when the pageant gets revamped, Clarissa wants in. Too late, now that she's really ill.

The two discs makes up the entire first season!   The only thing I don't have is the outer slip case.

Melissa Joan Hart did a very good job in Clarissa. Definitely worth checking out. Though I am not sure if it is worth to get the whole series. Especially since we are not the target audience.

I received today:

I watched the first disc so far... and pretty much came to the same conclusion.  :)
