It's been a long time since I've been genuinely excited about a collector's set .. but this Harry Potter set .. despite the insane price.. might just have done it!

I saw something about that Potter set earlier this year I think it was.  I did add it to my wishlist at Amazon, but I have been trying to resist.  It is crazy expensive..I already have 2 versions of the first 6 movies.

But...that is freaking awesome looking.  That box is bigger than I thought it would be.  And that cloth map thing..

It is probably just a matter of time before I crack and get it.

Have you seen these before?
If not, I recommend to watch the original one first.

Would be also interesting how the original fares when watched later. I have seen the original first and very much enjoyed it. And I think the remake is inferior to it.

I agree with Tom though I would say that the remake is easily one of the better ones of recent times.

I have on order...

Thriller: The Complete Series
Now available for the first time ever in any format, experience the complete series hailed as the most frightening ever created for television. Horror legend Boris Karloff (Frankenstein) guides you through 67 unforgettable episodes of suspense, murder and relentless terror, featuring a stellar cast of stars from the golden age of TV. These tales from the minds of such masterful writers as Edgar Allan Poe, Robert Bloch (Psycho) and Cornell Woolrich (Rear Window) include a murderous cursed painting, a supernatural mirror, a demonic tailor's suit and much more! Now remastered and packed with hours of exclusive, fascinating extras, Thriller is the ultimate must-have collection for any horror or classic television fan.

Wanderlust
Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston star in this laugh-out-loud comedy about leaving it all behind. After George (Rudd) loses his high-stress Manhattan job, he and his wife, Linda (Aniston), hit the road and wind up crashing at Elysium, a free-spirited community of hippies, tree-huggers and the occasional nudist. Featuring an all-star ensemble cast including Justin Theroux, Malin Akerman and Alan Alda, Wanderlust has "more laughs than I've had at the movies in a very long time." (Carrie Rickey, Philadelphia Inquirer)

The Amazing Spider-Man
Teenage social outcast Peter (Andrew Garfield) spends his days trying to unravel the mystery of his own past and win the heart of his high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). A mysterious briefcase belonging to his father, who abandoned him when he was a child, leads Peter to his dad's former partner, Dr. Connors. The discovery of his father's secret will ultimately shape his destiny of becoming "Spider-Man" and bring him face to face with Connors' villainous alter ego, the Lizard.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? Season One: Vol. 1
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it just might be Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the hilarious series where gifted comics devise sketches, impersonations and songs based on suggestions, props and inspired goofiness from off-beat and off-the-wall host Drew Carey and an equally playful audience.

Ever wonder what an excitable dog would do on a Let's Make a Date TV show? Or an astronaut with an alien inside him? And what would a newscast be like if the anchors were smart-aleck school kids showing off in class? Join Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, Wayne Brady and other stars in one hilariously hot-wired situation after another from 2 delicious discs worth of the complete, first 10 episodes of Season One, plus Uncensored Adult Versions of the Special Features. It's daring. It's delirious. It's comedy without a net. There is however, a website: whoselineisitanywaydvd.com.

Episodes:
1. Show No. 103
2. Show No. 104
3. Show No. 106
4. Show No. 101
5. Show No. 105
6. Show No. 102
7. Show No. 107
8. Show No. 111
9. Show No. 108
10. Show No. 117

Although the remake was pretty well done it really missed the 'connection' ... the romantic built between Oskar and Eli (original character names) that was in the original film.  The original film was a little less than the book but did bring a better level of feelings forward.

I think it was just too weird for the american market.
Thank you
David
