The Fog (Blu-Ray) 1979
I am hesitating to upgrade my DVD.

The Fog is not Carpenter's best, but it's quite solid actually. But I may see this rose-tinted, having particular good memories of when I was watching this as a teenager. :hmmmm:

Hm, i see. I've never seen it myself before, but i've heard great things about it. And it was recommanded to me. A friend told me about it, and he said he liked the original better then the remake (wich i havent seen either) So i thought it was great to get it for my October Horrorfest! ;)

A movie i've been interested in a long time tho. So this is a movie i'm looking forward to check out come October! :)

While it has been a while since I have seen it last, but I didn't mean to give the worng impression: I like this film a lot! May favorite Carpenter film is The Thing and The Fog is not up there with it; but then, what is ? But Carpenter also made a few stinkers (Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Escape from L.A.) and the Fog is not one of them by a long stretch.

Cool! I'm looking forward to check it out on my horrofest soon! And the original 'The Thing' havent seen it yet. (something i'm going to do tho) 7
I got the 2011 remake of 'The Thing' tho. Heard alot of different things about those movies tho. Still have the 2011 The Thing in my unwatched pile   :-[
But would you say 'The Thing' would go under the horror category?
