An unplanned package today:

This is England

Jon will be pleased to see this. I almost regret not including it into my last Britfilm batch, but I will probably get to it eventually.

 Very much so! When I get back to my British reviews, I plan to include this. Michael, if you're interested, I have already reviewed Shane Meadows first two, 24:7 and A Room For Romeo Brass...

I hadn't ordered from Amazon.de for a while. Have they generally switched to Hermes instead of Deutsche Post, or am I just unlucky?

You are just unlucky.

After some very unlucky attempts with Hermes I sent Amazon an E-Mail requesting shipment solely by DHL/Deutsche Post. This works fine.

Ah, well. Nothing bad has happened yet, I just prefer being able to go to the post office in case of a failed delivery.

As I mostly let them ship to my Packstation, so they have no choice but to use Deutsche Post/DHL :)

I got a DVD today of 10 music videos by country singer Toby Keith.  It contains one of my favorite songs by him, American Ride.
