I got another DVD title today...

Have Gun Will Travel: Season 4, Volume Two

So I now have 4 of the 6 seasons...this edition was just released.  I'm hoping the final two seasons get released but it took a few years after season 3 came out before the 4th season was released.

£12.99 from Amazon UK

Kind of a blind-buy. I've not seen this (or read any Sherlock Holmes), but my fiancée is a fan of these movies (and the original stories), so I figured I'd take a chance at that price, rather than watch them on the cheapy set she has.

Today a slightly bent and buckled steelbook edition arrived

The Green Zone

Now the fun of contacting amazon for a replacement for this and for a CD/DVD combo case that was cracked as well  :(

Wonderful film, I have the Criterion Edition
Wages of Fear

I wonder if Friedkin's remake Sorcerer will ever see the light of day in a decent edition.

I have sinned on June 30 (figured I go all out in June and then buy nothing in July ;)) and today I received two of the three packages with my rewards:

Reservoir Dogs

The Omen

Army of Darkness

Push
Hot Fuzz

Daybreakers
The Quick and the Dead

La femme Nikita

Gunslinger Girl: The Complete First Season

Mean Streets
Battleship Potemkin
Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles

A lot of double-dips, but Amazon had them for $10, so there was nothing I could do, really

Nope. Purely added upon your "recommendation. I remember you pointing out that Hit-Girl may have been inspired by this...

Maybe I will watch a bunch of episodes as part of the alpha-marathon. :hmmmm:

Just to be clear: Not Hit-Girl per se, but one particular scene in Kick-Ass. Where Hit-Girl enters the lobby with a school girl uniform and doing her little innocent girl stick, but then drawing a weapon and shooting the guys in cold blood.

Bollywood/Hollywood (Amazon.de)
A Canadian Bollywood parody/homage. I am not sure yet, which of those two it is supposed to be.

That may be what you said before.

Anyway, your comments (and someone else's...?) and the basic story idea gave me enough reason to go for it. Beyond that it's 8.1 at IMDb...
