While taking a walk around campus this afternoon... I found myself in the campus book store. Ended up grabbing a couple previously viewed DVDs cheap. I ended up buying...

Gabriel Iglesias: Hot and Fluffy
| Year: 2007 | 60 Min.

Gabriel Iglesias is one of the fastest rising comics today! With his unique brand of humor, loveable stage presence and a wide range of voices and impressions, it's no wonder he became an instant favorite on ''Last Comic Standing''. Now you can see Comedy Central's "Comic of the Year" in a sold out concert performance at the historic Fox Theater in Bakersfield, California.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
| Year: 2009 | 149 Min.

The battle for Earth continues in this action-packed blockbuster from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg. When college-bound Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers, he must accept his destiny and join Optimus Prime® and Bumblebee® in their epic battle against the Decepticons™, who have returned stronger than ever with a plan to destroy our world.

Gabriel Iglesias is one of Bittany's favorite comedians... so I will definitely think of her every time I watch it (that is if she don't swipe it from me when she comes over tonight!)

So far I only ever seen the first Transformers film. With this sorry version of guest wifi I can't check (they even block me from imdb!)... am I correct in thinking this is part 2 in the Transformers trilogy... or is it part 3? And if it is part 3... do I need to watch part 2 first?

They block imdb too?  Good grief.  Seems like they are a tad....extreme with that.  If there is an issue with the wifi the students use being slower, then the college needs to address that...more routers or something.

Here is what I have gotten in the last month or so...except for the last 2 that I haven't uploaded yet.

The Big Sleep
L.A. private eye Philip Marlowe (Humphrey Bogart) takes on a blackmail case...and follows a trail peopled with murderers, pornographers, nightclub rogues, the spoiled rich and more. But Raymond Chandler's legendary gumshoe solves it in hard-boiled style - and style is what The Big Sleep is all about. Director Howard Hawks serves up snappy character encounters, brisk pace and atmosphere galore. This DVD doubles your pleasure, offering two versions of this whodunit supreme: the familiar 1946 theatrical version (Side A) full of reshot scenes of incendiary Bogart/Bacall chemistry, and the less-familiar 1945 prerelease version (Side B), which recently resurfaced and whose plot and resolution are more linear in fashion.

Key Largo
A hurricane swells outside, but it's nothing compared to the storm within the hotel at Key Largo. There, sadistic mobster Johnny Rocco (Edward G. Robinson) holes up — and holds at gunpoint hotel owner Nora Temple (Lauren Bacall), her invalid father-in-law (Lionel Barrymore) and ex-GI Frank McCloud (Humphrey Bogart).

McCloud's the one man capable of standing up against the belligerent Rocco. But the postwar world's realities may have taken all the fight out of him. John Huston co-wrote and compellingly directs this film of Maxwell Anderson's 1939 play with a searing Academy Award®-winning* performance by Claire Trevor as Rocco's gold-hearted, boozy moll. In Huston's hands, it becomes a powerful, sweltering classic.

*1948: Best Supporting Actress.

Re-Animator
Deep within the morgue at Miskatonic University, madman Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) introduces fellow graduate student Dan Cain (Bruce Abbott) to his formula for the re-animation of fresh corpses. But the secret of life and death has some very messy consequences. Get ready to experience one of the most outrageously inventive, over-the-top classic horror films of all time!

Riddick Collection
Journey to a remote, hostile planet with a group of marooned passengers who learn that escaped convict Riddick isn't the only thing they have to fear in Pitch Black. Then, see him battle ruthless soldiers of fortune and vicious creatures in renowned animator Peter Chung's The Chronicles Of Riddick: Dark Fury. And finally, Riddick finds himself humanity's unlikely champion in the special effects fueled The Chronicles Of Riddick. Join Riddick in three times the action, three times the adrenaline and three times the adventure as the Riddick Trilogy makes complete one of the greatest sci-fi epics of all time!

Tower Heist

The Cold Light of Day
Will Shaw (Henry Cavill) arrives in Spain for a week-long sailing vacation with his family, despite having a strained relationship with his disciplinarian father Martin (Bruce Willis). The situation takes an unexpected and violent turn when his family is kidnapped by intelligence agents. Will's world turns upside down as he gets tangled in an intergovernmental web of lies and secrets, with a briefcase in the center of the mystery. Will finds himself on the run and realizes that he must recover the briefcase and take down secret agents in order to get his family back alive.

Mud
Mud is a timeless adventure about two boys, Ellis and Neckbone, who find a mysterious outlaw named Mud (McConaughey) hiding out on a deserted island in the Mississippi River. Mud tells the boys fantastic stories, including how he had to kill a man to save his true love Juniper (Witherspoon), and that the man's family has been chasing him ever since. Skeptical but intrigued, Ellis and Neckbone agree to help reunite Mud with Juniper, and soon Mud's tall tales come to life when their small town is besieged by bounty hunters out for blood.

Drive
Ryan Gosling stars as a Hollywood stunt driver for movies by day and moonlights as a wheelman for criminals by night. Though a loner by nature, "Driver" can't help falling in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan), a young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband. After a heist goes wrong, Driver finds himself driving defense for the girl he loves, tailgated by a syndicate of deadly serious criminals (Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman). Soon he realizes the gangsters are after more than the bag of cash and is forced to shift gears and go on the offense.

Iron Sky
In the last moments of WWII, a secret Nazi space program evaded destruction by making a daring escape to the Dark Side of the Moon. In the intervening 70 years they have re-colonized, re-armed and silently plotted their revenge.

When an American astronaut stumbles upon the Reich's secret Moon lair, the Führer (Udo Kier) decides to unleash their devestating armada upon the Earth. Now every man, woman and child must unite to stop the Nazi UFO invasion and save humanity!

Treasure Planet
From the directors of Disney's Aladdin and The Little Mermaid comes a fantastic story of courage, friendship and self-discovery. Now, for the first time on Blu-ray, shore this Academy Award® –nominated classic (Best Animated Feature Film, 2002) with your family as you travel across the universe to discover an exciting world full of fun.

Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island gets a futuristic twist in this amazing tale of a brave young man's thrilling journey to new frontiers aboard a flying ship. The greastest adventure of all time is now even better on Blu-ray. Treasure Planet 10th Anniversary Edition is a new experience for a new generation!

The Emperor's New Groove / Kronk's New Groove
Experience Disney's outrageously funny modern classic, The Emperor's New Groove, and the sidesplitting sequel Kronk's New Groove – presented for the first time ever on Blu-ray with perfect picture and sound. Featuring an all-star cast and the Academy Award®-nominated song, "My Funny Friend and Me" (Best Music, Original Song, Sting and David Hartley, 2000), this 2-movie collection is king-size fun for the entire family!

When the young and spoiled Emperor Kuzco is transformed into a llama by his sinister adviser Yzma, it takes a thoughtful peasant to restore the kingdom and show Kuzco just how much fun it is to be true to yourself. Then laugh along with Yzma's hilarious henchman Kronk as he cooks up big trouble in the fantastic follow-up film. These two comedy classics are better than ever on Disney Blu-ray!

The Muppet Movie: The Original Classic
Celebrate The Nearly 35th Anniversary of the ultimate frogs-to-riches story with the one that started it all—The Muppet Movie. Laugh along with the mostly-true story of how the Muppets got their start, now for the first time ever in vibrant Blu-ray hi-def picture and sound.

From the very first "plunk!" of Kermit's banjo playing "The Rainbow Connection" (Oscar® nominee, Best Original Song, 1979), to the hysterical road trip that brings our fearless frog together with Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal and most importantly of all, Miss Piggy, join the jam-packed heartwarming hilarity, outrageous antics and big-shot Hollywood cameos, it's bursting with hilarious bonus extras including an all-new Frog-E-Oke sing-along with your favorite Muppet songs.

As Kermit and the gang sing—"Life's like a movie!" Make The Muppet Movie part of your family, and have the time of your life as the Muppets share laughter and fun with "the Lovers, the Dreamers...and You."

'The Big Sleep' and 'Key Largo' .. what great films.  My fav is 'To Have and To Have Not' though (<G> just put it on).  Man ... Bogart and Bacall could really steam up the screen.  They say that Kathleen Turner and William Hurt really steamed in 'Body Heat' (and it wasn't bad :) ) but Bogart and Bacall could create the same emotion without the sex.   WOW
Thank you
