A short story here. I been doing a lot of walking lately. One of the things I do is walk to the grocery store and then grab a cab back when I have too much to carry. I did this first thing this morning... but in this case I barely got off the street I live on and it started to rain. Though it didn't feel like it was going to amount to much so I kept going. But wouldn't you know it... I was wrong. By the time I got to the store I was drenched! Soaked to the bone! And needless to say less then happy! So I decided to pick myself up a small treat... got this set for $4.99...

8 Movies Midnight Horror
| Year: 2012 | 729 Min.

THE REFLECTING SKIN
Inspired by his father's stories, a mischievous young boy blames the terrible events around him on his widowed nieghbor–Whom he believes is a vampire.

PINPRICK
A teenage girl hides a criminal in her bedroom closet until the man tires of his isolation and begins to venture into dangerous territory.

OFFICE KILLER
A social outcast, who has endured years of abuse as an office doormat, loses her sanity and takes out her co-workers one by one.

INVISIBLE
A couple is attacked at their lakeside cabin by a pair of deranged backwoods brothers who force them to fight for their lives.

FROZEN IN FEAR
Lacy seeks out the work of an artist who, unbeknowest to her, has taken up an interest in ice sculpture...with a human twist.

BROTHEL
Julianne purchases an old brothel to restore, but as she works, her shattered psyche takes on the personas of the prostitutes
and their Madam who once lived there.

STRANGE GIRLS
Bizarre, mute twins take their perverse behavior from a padded room to the real world.

THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM
Under the direction of Torquemada, the Grand Inquisitor of Spain, a young baker's wife is falsely accused of witchcraft and dragged before the Inquisition.

The way I collect horror... I was pleasantly surprised to find that I don't have a single film in my collection from this set already!

And no... at that price and with this DVD Label I don't expect too much from these titles. But at that price if I enjoy just one of these films it will be worth it.   :)

V/H/S
| Year: 2012 | 116 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

V/H/S is a point of view, found-footage horror film from the perspective of America's top genre filmmakers. A group of misfits are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house in the countryside to acquire a rare tape. Upon searching the house, the guys are confronted with a dead body, a hub of old televisions and an endless supply of cryptic footage, each video stranger and more inexplicably terrifying than the last...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
| Year: 2010 | 146 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Harry, Ron and Hermione set out to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort's power – the Horcruxes. On their own and on the run, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever...but Dark Forces threaten to tear them apart.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
| Year: 2011 | 130 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort. It all ends here.

Thrilled to see more getting the animated superhero films. I just recently got the newest Justice League animated movie. I haven't even watched it yet. Of the ones you got... Loved Batman: Under the Red Hood.... Liked Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: Part 2... Batman: Year One was good... but least favorite out of those three.

I really enjoyed Alphas (though not enough to get it on blu-ray :) ).  It had some promise and some very enjoyable characters.  Always great to watch David Strathairn.  It just seemed to come out a the wrong time .. too many shows similar or on SciFi (or SyFy as the rebranded  ) which is kind of a death nail on it's own.
Thank you
David
